What is the best exercise to lose weight?

Push ups, and other forms of weight training are essential to developing lean muscle. Lean muscle is more dense than fat, so it takes up less room while weighing a bit more. However, having lots of lean muscle allows you to have a faster metabolism, which is also good for weight loss.

However, as important as strength training is, you need to find a cardio activity you enjoy. My nephew lost weight when he was about your age by learning how to play DDR very well. If you engage in any activity for 30 minutes and it raises your heart rate to 70 to 80 percent of its maximum, then that's a good cardio activity. No single cardio activity is better than all the rest, but the important thing is that it needs to be something YOU enjoy and will keep doing, because the point is to get healthy and stay healthy! Personally, I get the best workout from "spin" class.

How to loose weight doing exercise at home only ?

First of all, warm up by doing some cardio. Like jumping jacks, touching toes etc.

Then you can listen to music and skip rope for 30 minutes. You burn 300+ calories! if you don't have a rope, then you could always pretend you have one and still jump.

Remember to keep going until you're really tired. Like, push yourself. You don't need to do it for 30 minutes straight. You can do 15 minutes in the morning and 15 minutes in the afternoon. And eat 1200 calories + a lot of water and green tea. And I can assure you that you will get the body that you want! :) oh and it's better if you only weigh yourself once a week. That will give you a much more accurate answer on how much you've lost. Our weight fluctuates too much on daily basis. Anywhere from 1 - 5 pounds.

How much you should you exercise to lose weight?

well see you should exercise for 1 hour a day, but i do the ellipticall for 30 minutes a day so it really doesn't matter either way your getting exercise and thats good for the body, you can exercise for 10 minutes a day or even 5 minutesa day its no difference in that your body is getting exercise but you really should exercise 1 hour a day

You should exercise for 6 days a week and give your body a rest for one day. I recommend exercsinge monday to saturday and rest sunday, or exercise tuesday to sunday and rest monday because those seem to be the most days people are lazy or people just dont wanna do anything.

i lost 10 pounds a month by eating 1500- 2000 calories a day of healthy foods and doing 30 minutes of cardio everyday. try to cut out candy, cookies, chips, soda, fried food, fast food greasy food, full fat dairy and cut back or avoid going out to eat.

My freind went to this weight loss doctor and they told her that exercising helps you maintain your weight no to lose weight.
So now I'm confused.
