Homecoming Outfit Question

What do you wear to homecoming?

For your dress, you should probably go with a beautifully colored(to your face, skin tone & eye color, etc.) whether it be black, blue/green, purple, red. Something beautiful and flattering for you, something silently dramatic. A nice diamond necklace, diamond drop earrings, heels, a shiny/silvery/beaded/elegant/pretty/smal... purse. You want your hair to be beautiful(like, not in a ponytail or a dancer's bun, hair wraps or braids or anything). It dpeends on your hair as to how exactly you should do it, but maybe long and curly/wavy, or tied up with pieces hanging down. Some girls like to color their hair right before the dance, which is a little risky, but very cool if it all goes smoothly, because it is something new and fresh, and people are surprised, they will compliment you on it and it willl draw attention. Have some nice french manicured nails, and a lot of friends to hang out with. Also, practice dancing a little before you go, be confident about yourself because you look beautiful and have fun!!

Question about Homecoming?

It's up to you and the escort about who buys her flowers. Most of the girls I know whose fathers didn't escort them chose a friend, but they weren't extremely close, so the parents did buy the flowers. Check with the school or another person who knows how it's done in your daughter's school: I know of some schools who provide the flowers.

I definately would not get her hair done in the dress she'll be wearing. That's just asking for a stain or a tear or little hairs all over it. Have her wear a button-up shirt (not over-the-head) and help her into the dress at the right time. Just hold out the neckline and the rest of the dress to provide as wide an opening as possible, then slowly fit it over the hair.

No, it's not like if she were getting married and you are the mother of the bride. You don't have to dress up, unless you are also escorting her (moms can do this, two girls in my school who are known for kind of breaking tradition had their mother, a widow, do all the escorting duties, because they wanted someone they were really close to to escort them.)

Homecoming dance questions!?

HI!
So I'm a freshman this year in high school, and homecoming is in exactly three weeks. I have plans to go with my friends. I just need to know what I should look like.

I know i should wear a dress BUT what should it look like? i dont want buying suggestions on brands, but maybe what did your dress look like for homecoming when you were in 9th grade? like how short, what style, color and stuff like that..
SHOES:should I wear heels? do freshman wear heels? sandal heels, pumps, wedges? how high? if no heels then what?
BAG/PURSE:what should I use for a bag to hold cell money lip stuff? i dont want it to get in the way, and if you have any ideas how to hold a cell phone without a bag, im all ears..
MAKE UP: I have brown eyes, brown hair, and somewhat tan skin, but not too tan. so how should i do my make up?
HAIR: I have brown hair with natural reddish and blonde highlights from the sun. its very curly, and i will definitly straighten it, but what are some cute hairstyles for straight hair?
so also what goes down at homecomig dances?? i dont even really know how to dance, so any tips on that would be great too!!
i want to make this a very memorable and fabulous night, please help me!!!
thanks soooo much!

Lorax or grinch hat for baby boys homecoming outfit?

I want to get a lorax or grinch beanie for my sons homecoming outfit when he's born.
Etsy has some, but they are way over priced and look like crap. The ones that look decent are still overpriced and they don't make them in infant size anyways.

We don't want a costume, just a beanie/hat of the lorax or grinch (since he will be born around christmas).

Homecoming Advice?! all black suit and white tie?

so im going to homecoming in a few weeks and i was thinking about what to wear... i was thinking all black suit and shoes and a white tie? really more of a question for the girls because im not actually trying to impress any guys here. Something else is that im not sure if i should wear something a little more traditional...Any help would be appreciated!:)

What do guys wear to homecoming?

i have a date to homecoming, and i have 2 questions, what do guys wear, a suit, tux?what? and another, we know were goin together and all but i really wanna make it special i want to find a really cool way to ask her to it,, it has to be reallllllyyy good, not take her to dinner, or movies, but something like draw on the road in chalk " will you go to homcoming with me" something like that.

Homecoming Court Interviews?

I joined the newspaper staff of my high school recently and I have "volunteered" to interview the homecoming court. This is a little awkward for me as I tend to Focus on writing rather than reporting. My main concern is to get the interviews done without seeming like a press nuisance (nobody likes the paparazzi). What would be the best way to start? Should I casually walk up and say "were from the newspaper, would you mind if we ask you a few questions" or something like that? One of the senior members of the staff has agreed to accompany me and give me some pointers, but still I'm worried about seeming to be an annoyance.

Secondly, what would be some good questions to ask? This will definitely go into the paper and a quote highlighted.

Thanks! I really appreciate it.

My date to homecoming is wearing a navy blue dress. How do I match her?

And our homecoming isn't extremely formal, so almost nobody wears a tuxedo. So black pants over khakis? And any other color suggestion besides white for the shirt?

How do I choose the prom dress for my next homecoming?

Choosing a prom dress is so fun! I would propose selecting something that compliments your own style and identity. You need to pick a dress that puts the consideration on you and features your characteristic highlights. Pick a shading that compliments your skin tone and an outline that compliments your figure. Before you are going for a prom dress to pick you should know about the statistical data points of the prom dresses. Prom is a standout amongst the most otherworldly evenings in a young lady's secondary school vocation, in some cases a standout amongst the most captivated nighttimes throughout her life.Find here more information - https://www.musthavedresses.com/
