Where's the Yahoo "WHITE LIST" for acceptable email addresses?
I wish to RECEIVE email from: idzrus@earthlink.net I am told that you have banned WGEN emails from this address. Will I be able to CONTINUE to RECEIVE WGEN emails? If NOT, WHY NOT? You manage to insert PORNOGRAPHIC emails that I do NOT want to my "in" folder. I created special FOLDERS to put ALL WGEN & ALL idzrus@earthlink.net emails directly to my "in" box. I do NOT find any "white" folder to list email addresses that I DO WANT TO RECEIVE as an OPTION in your Yahoo "Options" folder. Please explain this to me.

Any number or letter, dot (.), dash (-), underscore (_). That's it. No spaces, other punctuation, no slashes, no parentheses. That goes for any email service. There's a standard for email that applies to all email providers.

Why is Yahoo Mail not working 3-16-2014? Will not update contact by adding to existing list?
On entering a new contact, Yahoo Mail will not allow me to add the contact to a "list" (used to be called "category"). Upon clicking to check the "list" to add the contact to, it freezes. Button does nothing. Other times, a little wheel spins for minutes and does nothing. I have to click cancel or get out of contacts. Name has not been added to the contact list. Thanks for another Unreliable Addition to what was once an acceptable email system but is now just garbage. And I pay a yearly fee to be abused by Yahoo. Our relationship may end soon if you do not fix this mess. It used to work. Now I cannot rely on it. Does anyone there know what they are doing? You continue to treat your customers like dirt. While I am at it, I do not appreciate Yahoo misrepresenting email as having been sent from Yahoo instead of me. I saw what arrived, which is not what I sent. I never added Yahoo to the Sender line. It was not done with my knowledge or permission. My name is left off. I have been told people discarded emails as my name had been removed and they thought they were getting advertising from Yahoo, not from me. Cut this crap out. Does anyone know how to contact anyone at Yahoo with influence to do something? I have never been able to contact a human at Yahoo. Is it professional to have an email with a number in it?
It's not really professional to have gmail at all, professionals generally have their own domain names and if they use gmail, they use it through Google Apps. But for personal professional uses, like resumes, it's fine. There's no need to purchase a domain name for that. I would use the one with your full name for those kind of professional uses and the one with the number for security, linking your bank account and phone bill to that one. You can also have the one with your name forward into your new one and set it up so you can use the more secure one to send and receive your more professional e-mail.
