How to bring up my grades?!?

Unfortunately it'd be impossible to project your grade without knowledge of how many assignments you have left/how much assignments/assessments are weighted, etc.
But I CAN tell you that if you have the average amount of homework and tests that I do, and if you get an A on every test and assignment for the next month and a half you can PROBABLY get a B in math, a mid C in reading, a mid B in writing, an high B in science, and maybe a low- D in history- best case scenario.

Some tips:

-Talk to your teachers!!! I'm totally guessing here, but you might have some missing assignments. Ask your teachers (as politely and rationally as possible) if there is any way you can make up for those. If that fails, ask if there is any way to get some extra credit another way.

-Do ALL of your homework. Honestly, in any given class, anyone could probably get a low B- high C if they fully complete and put effort into their homework. And homework is the easiest- no memorization required, just some work! Boring but SO WORTH IT if you want to get those grades up.

-Doing the homework automatically helps you out for tests. Doing any review packets that teachers give you for tests is also ESSENTIAL. What I do (especially for things like math and science) is go over the packet and do as much as I can without any notes, circling the problems that I don't know how to do, or problems that I get wrong. Then I go back and figure out how to do them- and then I write myself a note about what I did wrong, something I forgot to do, or something that I need to remember for the test. The day of the test, I go back and look over those notes to remind myself of those things.

Hope I helped! GOOD LUCK!!!

How do I bring my grades up in 1 month?

First off talk with your teachers:
what you want to find out is this:
a. Do you have any missing assignments or do they allow redo's and how does it work
b. Do they already have the work planned for the days you will be gone and can you get them in advance
c. What extra credit is offered and how do you do it.
d. What do they feel that you are having a hard time with and what advice do they have to get any extra help you need.
e. is their an after school tutoring program

Also as many have already said study for your tests but also if you feel you need extra help find out if a buddy or the teacher can assist you.

How do i bring my grades up?

you need to get on this problem immediately. the first thing i would do is talk to each teacher. tell them that you have always been a good student and that this semester has been really hard on you. tell them you know that you are waiting until the last minute to ask for help (and admit it, you are!) but you would appreciate any help that they could give you. could you do any extra credit? if you have any tests left, study hard and ask the teacher before the test day on any areas that you don't understand. show some effort to the teachers and it will go a long way!

good luck and don't ever let this happen again. it might have seemed worth blowing off studying at the time, but long term you seem to be paying a big price.

Is it possible to bring my grade up from a C to a B in two weeks?

Ok, I'm a sophomore and I'm taking Physics HONORS. In the beginning of the year, I went to my zone school, which is not a very good school. All the other teachers EXCEPT for my physics teacher had actually taught me stuff. Its not his fault though. He had cancer in his nose and was gone most of the semester. For the second semester, I was accepted into a very good school and now I don't understand most of the things I learned in Physics, but I think I'm doing decently. Last grading period, I got exactly an 80 in that class, but now, I have a 73%...

I've been trying to bring it up by doing all the homework, but it only changed it by 2 points. I really want to get at least a B on my report card so I can exempt the exam because it will be covering stuff from the first semester, and I didn't learn that. I only have 2 more weeks until the grading period ends. We have 1 quiz and 1 test before the grading period ends though. Do you think I will be able to bring it up on time to at least a B????

How Can i bring my grades up? Im in 9th grade.?

First of all, I'll say that you're not alone in this. Lots of students let their grades drop once they get into high school. So thumbs up for wanting to do better :)
First of all, if you aren't already doing so, stay organized! It's much easier to make sure that you complete assignments on time and study for tests if you know when they are coming up. Keep due dates/test dates on a calendar and each night take a lot at what is coming up the next day and several days ahead.
Also, don't wait until the last minute. It's very easy to do, and I am guilty of it myself sometimes :) But especially when you have a bigger project, or a test that is worth a large portion of your grade, you want to be prepared in plenty of time. It's a lot easier to study for a test a little each night than to try to cram in lots of information the night before.
One thing that I found very helpful in high school/college also was to make notecards for tests. This would vary depending on the subject matter. But for instance, I had a weekly vocabulary test in my English class. I would write the word on one side and the definition on the other. This is an easy way to drill yourself and can be adapted to any subject.

Can I Still Bring up my grades. Please Help I am so depressed?

Hang in there - the Junior year is usually considered the hardest year academically, and it looks like you have a challenging schedule. Try and look at each class you're not happy with the grade in and diagnose the problem individually. Is it that you're not understanding the concepts? Not putting enough effort into studying for tests? Have you been completing all the homework? Is there extra credit you could be doing? Especially in Math, you may benefit from some tutoring, too. Maybe you could almost meet with your teachers individually and ask them what they think you could do to improve things.

It's early in the year, and you have plenty of time to turn things around, so don't get discouraged. And try not to beat up on yourself, although I know it's hard to resist that temptation. Again, you have a very heavy schedule and except for gym, no real elective type classes that would give you slack in your schedule. Another thing you might consider is discussing with your school counselor (if it's not too late) if you might be able to switch one of your academic classes, maybe one of your sciences, for an elective to lighten your load.

Good luck!!!

CAN I BRING MY GRADE UP BY 3% IN 4 DAYS, IM SO DEPPRESED I HAVE A 87% IN S.S AND I HAVE TO GET AN A?

ok this may sound lame but I once knew a girl who when in school recieved all A's her entire career until her mid junior year when she recieved one B+.in History.

No amount of pleading with her teacher changed this grade.

Now, this girl was so uptight about her B+ and her reduced GPA that she became really depressed. Her parents were disappointed, angry and punished her and made her feel like a miserable looser.
She believed them.

Eventually this girl started letting her other grades slip as well. "Why try any more?" she said. she started missing classes (she had NEVER missed a day of school in her life until this point) and eventually started skipping school and acting like a rebellious hood. Then her GPA really took a dive and eventually it was a genuine reality that she wasn't getting into that ivy league institution she had been working towards or even the local junior college if she didn't look out.
she didn't look out. after graduation she had to take a job waiting tables at her uncles resturaunt. It wasn't until she was 23 that this girl thought about going to college and doing something different with her life.
Years later, upon reflecting about what happened, This girl said that she honestly thought at the time that her life was ruined and her accademic career was over because didn't have a perfect GPA.

Doesn't that sound rediculous?

Really. this is a true story. I worked with this girl. We were working together in a horrible retail chain together. she related her story to me over break one day. I just sat in awe as I listened. I had come from a working class family and college without financial aid truely was not an option for me. (I was working full-time through my stint at college as well.)
How could someone be so darn obssessed with ONE grade that it could mess them up this bad?
How could ones parents be such jerks and unrealistic ?

Something to think about and bring reality into focus.
