Is it possible to create a second internet?
completely separated from the current one with safeguards in place to keep the governments' greedy claws the hell out? I have no clue how something like this would work, but hypothetically speaking is it possible? The reason I'm asking? Google ACTA.
Why and how were Twitter, Reddit, Facebook, etc. so successful?
They weren't! They were the results of several failed attempts at success by their creators and usually created as a result of an accident. Their ideas were so powerful, they were able to build applications around them. Until people really needed Facebook, Twitter, and Reddit their uses and popularity were null. Facebook, Twitter, and even Apple alike create a need for their products by telling people they need their service and how they do it.

Why did my firewall block Python?
I've been getting familiar with using Python, and have been using Python 2.6 with pygame. Everything has been working fine, but upon starting Python today, I got an error message about the program being blocked by my firewall, but it still worked correctly. I continued to make a module, and after saving it and trying to run it, Python closed itself, and now every time I try to open it again, it says "Socket Error: No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it" Followed by another pop-up, reading "IDLE's subprocess didn't make connection. Either IDLE can't start a subprocess or personal firewall software is blocking the connection." Can someone help? D:
A message from Road Runner, blocking my internet use - has anyone else seen this?
I got online today, only to find a page open on my browser from RoadRunner. It started with the following: "Message from Road Runner regarding your High Speed Data account and suspected Virus activity." It then went on to say that it had received reports of virus activity from the machine connected to my cable modem, that that would make me in violation of the user agreement etc. It offered some links to sites where I can get scanning and other virus tools for a PC. I have not used any of the links in case they might actually invite a virus in, only at the bottom I had no choice but to click on the button to agree that I would address the issue or I was blocked from opening any other page. Has anyone seen this? Is it a legit message from Road Runner? I will ask them again if I have to but after 22 minutes on hold, I had to give up on them for a bit. I have a macbook but my boyfriend does have a PC that may have something... I'd appreciate any advice or experience anyone has with this. Thank you!!

Google has a bad relationship with China government for complex reasons. As long as the Snap Inc. chooses Google for their global services, people within China will not access it within the Great Fire Wall (at least for current time and next a few years).
How to unblock tumblr videos?
when i click on a video on tumblr, the video might be blocked. i click play and it starts a black screen with a buffering sign and the video time is playing but no video or sound. i know that means its blocked because when i click on the same video on my ipad it takes me to another page saying that its blocked. how do i unblock a video on tumblr? i have a mac btw.
So, is it impossible to rotate items on Transformice if you don't have a mousewheel?
I've been playing Transformice a lot lately and would like to not be such a sucky shaman. The only thing is, I am playing on a laptop, and hence don't have a mouse, let alone a wheel to rotate the items with. Is there any other way, or do I just have to be a sucky shaman forever because I can only place flat objects?
