He invented many excellent engineering solutions to problems in the design of small computers. He didn’t invent the microprocessor, but he did invent an architecture that used far fewer chips with an 8-bit microprocessor to build a working personal computer. That was the Apple 1.He continued with that tradition in the Apple II, which also had a relatively low chip count, making the profit margin on it better than other machines of the same era, as well as more capable.He came up with a method of getting more data onto a floppy disk by using a constant linear velocity (so varying rate of spin) and that was used in the Apple II disk drives and the later Mac disk drives.He invented the Apple Desktop Bus, a daisy-chain serial system that could be used to connect keyboards, mouse and other peripherals on the Mac and later Apple-II designs. He hasn't done anything since he made the Apple II and IIe. Nothing. He has more than 3 divorces, each cost him a fortune.He is just living the life he loves. He is awesome. Doesn't worry about a thing. Plays Segway polo. And enjoys life. Having 100 million dollars in worth isn't bad.Your pension is perhaps $450 000 (450k), that is supposed to take care of you in your old age. Woz can easily burn off a cool million every year just buying Hawaiian shirts, for the next 100 years. He could have made special designs Lamborghini and buy a 100 of them and still have more than 450 000 dollars for retirement.In short. He really hasn't invested his money in anything profitable. He has done what he wanted. He gives away a lot of his money.He is not in any danger, except perhaps health and age related issues. He has said it time and time again that he just does what he wants. Don’t bother him unless you cannot get an answer anywhere else. He has a real job to do.
