How do i get a shiny froakie in pokemon x and y?
I have been trying to get a shiny froakie in pokemon x and y for about a week now. I started out breeding my greninja with a forign ditto. a couple of boxes full of froakies later, i switched my grninja, who is american, to a german one. that didnt work either. then i got a friend safari that had frogadiers. i spent countless hours, searching in there. i thought it might work because i had gotten a shiny stunfisk earlier. When i was searching i did the restraunts and got the perfect amount of turns and tipped $10000 each time. still nothing. If anyone knows any other tips to help me, please tell me. Thank you!
Pokemon x and y questions about froakie vs chespin and charmander vs squirtle?
Go with Froakie and Charmander. Froakie's final evolution is pretty darn fast, which is rather unusual for some water types, and there's plenty of good water and dark type moves that he can learn when he reaches said evolution. As for Charmander, when you can Mega Evolve him, he becomes a great physical attacker as well as a special attacker. I wouldn't use Squirtle if you chose Froakie and vice versa because that would mean two slots on your team are devoted to water types, which isn't all that diverse in the long run.

Well, people have been saying that shiny pokemons are easier to find in X and Y. There are three factors in Pokemon that determine whether the Pokemon you encounter will be a shiny. 1. Trainer ID 2. Undisplayed Secret ID 3. Pokemon Nature Apparently if all those numbers put into an equation is less than 8, then you got yourself a shiny Pokemon. However, that would be a no. You there is no trick unless you hack. All three factors are uncontrollable by the player.

First of all, don't be influenced by what others choose. If you want to double up on starter types (ex: Fennekin and Charmander) then go for it. I had the hardest time choosing my partner for this upcoming game, but presently I have my heart set on Chespin. I chose him for a variety of reasons, including what I call the "RPG theory". A lot of people are comparing Froakie to a rogue, Fennekin to a mage, and Chespin to a warrior. In nearly every RPG I've played, being a warrior was the most fun option. I'm more of an in-your-face, all out attack kind of player than a stealthy thief or a mage that keeps its distance. I also love Chespin's appearance, and Quillidan (its evolution) is even cuter to me. I know a lot of people are ripping on Quillidan's round body, but I get a kick out of it. It's awesome. Grass types have never been my first choice, but I look at my choice as sort of a challenge. I've chosen fire types since Pokemon Yellow, so maybe it's time to switch things up. So all in all, I think you should consider which starter best suits your personality. To me, Froakie seems more laid-back and cool, Fennekin is mysterious and confident, and Chespin is bubbly and sort of awkward. You may also consider playing with a new type if you want a challenge, or choose the same to continue "tradition". If all else fails, roll a die when the time comes to choose. If you get 1 or 2, pick Fennekin. 3 or 4, pick Froakie. 5 or 6, pick Chespin. Consider it fate - it might turn out really fun to choose this way! Good luck!

Delphox is one of the most powerful psychic pokemon. Besides legendary, of course. It has good stats and 6 weaknesses. Chesnaught is really cool, but mine turned out to be not a really good one. Anonymous is a moron. That method is how you catch Zapdos in the older generations. X and Y decided to be a prick about how you capture the Legendary birds. You will only be able to encounter one bird per game depending on which starter you chose (Fenniken=Zapdos, Chespin=Articuno, Froakie=Moltres), and you will randomly encounter it in the wild after becoming the Champion. Every time you find it it will run away before you can even damage it, and after 10 encounters (might be more) it will be waiting for you at Sea Spirit's Den.
