AdwCleaner Do I want to delete everything it found?
I know a few of the things I want to get rid of but some I don't know what they are and I can't even find a decent clue searching the internet for them. I don't want to delete registry keys that I shouldn't and mess everything up. Would there be important things in there or are they all ok to remove?
How do I remove content from a Google search?
So, you know how when you type in the username you usually use online into Google, and all this personal stuff comes up? Well there are a few sites that I don't even WANT the world I've ever BEEN on it, and if someone who knows me personally happens to type my username in, they can both what I put up there and be able to identify that it's me. I myself would go into my own accounts and take the content off, but 1), I haven't been on the sites for years now, and I don't want to start again, 2), it's not too urgent or embarrassing, 3), I've forgotten my password for a couple, and 4), I wouldn't know how. I just don't want anything to do with these websites anymore, especially when it comes to reputation, but Google kinda gets in the way of that. I also tried looking up how to get rid of search results on Google itself, but it's all too confusing =/
How do you remove history from search area ?
History records as long as you have the amount of days set in TOOLS|INTERNET OPTIONS|GENERAL Days to keep pages in history. Also on the GENERAL tab, you can clear your history there, or right click on either the day (or single entry) and select delete history.
