How Can I Install All The Factory Default Sony Vaio Software Along With Windows 7 Onto A Brand New

Can I switch my Windows 7 installation to a new computer?

You don't need the xp install cd. Just run it as if you were installing Windows 7 on the separate hard drive and it will install normally because you had no OS in the other hard drive (NOT the one with Windows XP). Choose the clean install option and wait for 7 to install and activate as normal, given you have the full OS cd of 7. If you want to upgrade your XP hard drive to Windows 7, you will have to back up your data and choose the clean install option when you install it. (You can't use the upgrade option because Microsoft won't allow for that, except for Vista users). You can use the Upgrade media for 7, though, for doing an "upgrade." Hope this helps. Go to the Microsoft documentation for more details.

How to restore a windows 7 sony vaio without discs?

It's a funny thing what's going on today with computer manufactures and Microsoft. at one time when you bought a computer, buyers got a CD copy of the systems set up disk (drivers) and a OEM CD copy of windows, then all that stopped. Manufactures then started to put a copy of windows and the Drivers on a separate hidden partition on the hard drive, so that users could make their own systems restore disk,

Then it came you could buy the system restore CD's from the manufactures at a nominal price. All this seems to have stopped. Consumers don't get a copy of OEM windows system restore at all. if the system goes down, they now have to buy a new windows install CD, Which is all wrong, they have paid for windows which is in the price of of their computer purchase, They have been forced to have windows. Now they are being forced to buy windows again, This is what becomes of a companies monopoly, Consumers are now paying twice for the same product. Yes you will need to buy windows 7 what ever version you choose.

How do re-install Bluetooth on my Windows 8 HP laptop?

It seems like an Windows update problem. I'd recommend to try the below steps:1. Lookup your Windows update in control panel & install all available updates listed. Restart your machine. 2. If your Windows is up to date or dont wish to update your Windows, then uninstall the current wireless driver/ bluetooth driver, (this will also disable your wi-fi) 3. Open up HP assistance (if your HP came with Windows pre-installed then you will have this program), and click Refresh to let it check for available updates. Install updates if found. Restart. 4. If the step 3 doesn't fix it? Goto HP website/ support, enter your HP's model/ serial, and whatever they ask for,  choose your operating system (in your case either Windows 8 86x or 64x) download the bluetooth as well as the wireless driver. Install. Restart. 5. If step 4 doesn't solve it? Try doing a factory reset as suggested in another answer.6. If step 5 doesn't solve it? Call the technician, if you're within warranty you should get it fixed for free. Tell him that you already tried the above steps. Good luck!

How do I do a factory reset after upgrading to Windows 10 without going back to Windows 10?

There are two types of “Factory Reset”.Windows 10 has its own way built in, which means to say it will keep Windows 10. You should have this option available if you can at least run Windows 10 .This was all answered here >>> (Link )Once I've installed Windows 10, if I have to factory reset my laptop, will it revert to Windows 8.1 or stay on Windows 10?The laptop may have its own way, as Windows 8 didnt have that built in. The image used to restore from is stored in a seperate , hidden (in so much that you don’t see it as a drive’s file system, ,you don’t see its files. ) partition on the hard drive. If the image for the laptop built in method was made for Windows 8, that would be what you get from it. The benefit of the laptop method is that it could work without the need for a DVD , which makes it quicker for tech people to restore laptops.

My Sony Vaio freezes at 84% when I try to reset the factory settings; how do I get around this?

There is probably nothing you can do about that... it all depends on exactly it is locking up. Is it locking up because of Bad Ram in that 6 year old laptop? Is it locking up because the hard drive has finally failed (when most hard drives will only last 3 to 5 years, as that is the expected life span of one)? Is it locking up because the system is heavily infected and the recovery data is corrupted?

Unfortunately, you can't find the discs for that unit, because you were supposed to make them when the unit was new.

So... what can you do now?

If you can get hold of an OEM install of Windows XP Home, you can attempt to reinstall Windows that way, but if the Ram or Hard drive is the issue, it won't matter. You will need to diagnose why the recovery process locks up first. With a Windows XP installation disc, you could enter the recovery console and run CHKDSK to see if the hard drive is failing or has bad sectors. You can download Memtest86 http://www.memtest86.com and make a boot disc you can use to check your Ram, to identify or eliminate that as a possibility. In short, you need to identify what is causing the process to lock up.

Yes, I realize you are asking that question here... but without getting hands on the unit, none of us can tell you what is causing the unit to lock up. We can only point you in a few directions to check yourself. Unfortunately, without access to all the right tools, you might be left with taking the unit to a computer repair shop.

How to install Chrome OS onto a solid state drive?

I want to re install chrome OS on my Chromebook, but after many tries with different things nothing worked (DON'T GIVE ME ANSWER ON HOW TO POWER WASH OR USE RECOVERY MEDIA>>> I ALREADY KNOW)

I've given up trying to fix it and decided I should wipe the solid state drive and install chrome OS again.

How do I do this?

I just need a straight answer:
I have a Chromebook (model: ENGUARDE E6A-L9I-U6E-S6A-A6A)
A windows Pc (to download anything or hook up the Solid state drive to???)
And the solid state drive itself.

Please help me out.

What is your review of Windows 8?

★★★★★I would tend to think of the fast boot-up and shut-down and the preinstalled drivers. Its really too quick mann. 8secs to boot(to be precise). I can list down the cool new features incorporated:Installation (of Windows 8) is too damn fast.Boot-up and shutdown times are pretty amazing. One needs to manually install only the graphic card drivers(NVIDIA or ATI ). Rest have already been done for you..The synchronization with Microsoft Account is worth talking about. Making a Microsoft account is very useful and is quite easy as you don't need any extra email. You can make it with an already existing one like mine i have my gmail live id. You can synchronize it with your Facebook account and all sorts of accounts that you have. Once you have linked your microsoft account to your computer, your life will be made easy. You will get all the calenders(FB birthdays, google calender, etc) in the calender app. Your mailbox will automatically get created. Your messaging accounts, etc all get synced by itself. All the settings(even the minor ones like the position of taskbar) gets synced to your account and if you want to configure Windows 8 on another device or if you reinstall it, you just need to sync your Microsoft account and all your settings, wallpaper, themes, etc will be back. You can view all your photos(from skydrive, Fb to flickr) at one place under the Photos appNo need of Daemon Tools or other iso mounting software. Win 8 has got its own capacity to create a virtual drive once you double-click on the iso file. It opens in a second. The task manager has quite interactive interface and you have got the Startup options there itself. No more opening "RUN" to go to msconfig. The amazing collection of awesome apps(some really are) make your life peaceful as you don't need to browse anymore and you've got apps for many commonly used websites like Wikipedia, Makemytrip, wordpress, cricinfo, ebay, engadget, and the amazing integration of XBOX.This has got cons too. Not actually negatives but just that their presence would have made it better. No provision to make ad-hoc(yes, you can't make an ad-hoc but can only join one)The new version of windows update is not informative. Old one is still present though and is accessible only through Action Center.

I have a sony vaio laptop and i forgot my password to log into windows help!!!!?

Usually, we can recover Windows admin password in two traditional ways. The first is to change Screen password with another admin account; the second is to recover the previous password with the windows password reset disk that had been created before you forgot the password. Take Windows XP for example,

1 At the Windows XP login prompt when the password is entered incorrectly click the reset button in the login failed window.

2 Insert the password reset diskette into the computer and click Next.

3 If the correct diskette Windows XP will open a window prompting for the new password you wish to use.

However, we offen ignore the important of security until we have been locked out of computer. Fortunately, there is still the last way that can unlock your computer without reinstalling - erase Windows password with Windows password reset CD, which can recover admin password for Windows 7/XP/Vista/NT/2000/2003.... Take Windows Password unlocker for example, followings are the steps to create the reset CD

1.Download Windows Password Unlocker from Password Unlocker Official site

2.Decompress the Windows password unlocker and note that there is an .ISO image file. Burn the image file onto an blank CD with the burner freely supported by Password Unlocker.

3.Insert the newly created CD into the locked computer and re-boot it from the CD drive.

4.After launched the CD, a window pop up with all your account names(if you have several accounts) select one of the accounts that you have forgotten its password to reset it. Just one press, this software can remove screen password instantly.
