Is an M.Pharm course worth doing after a B.Pharm in India?

See, its my personal opinion to you is do MBA because you will have to struggle a lot after your M. Pharm. It Does not depends fully that from which college you are doing your M. Pharm but it entirely depends how much you can wait after M. Pharm . Because after M. Pharm you have to struggle for at least 5 years to get a good package and not everyone is so lucky to survive in that period.I am not saying you that do it from any college, but do M. Pharm with great knowledge and develop talent which is industry's requirement.MY PERSONAL SUGGESTION==::DO M. PHARM ONLY IF YOU QUALIFY GPAT AS STIPEND HELPS A LOT NO MATTER HOW RICH YOU ARE BECAUSE RIGHT NOW STIPEND IS 12400 PER MONTH SO CALCULATE FOR 2 YEARS HOW MUCH AMOUNT IT WILL BECOME. your personal expenses can be carried out or your college fee can be recovered or you can support your family.I am also doing M. Pharm in QA so think thrice before entering M. Pharm because time never come back.Tell your parents the actual situation of job and salary package after M. Pharm. Telling them the reality will boost your confidence and if its okay for them then go ahead buddy. It is what I done. Now if you decided to do M. Pharm then=Prepare for GPAT and NIPER JEE.Prepare for these two and must clear GPATGood preparation of GPAT will help you to qualify for specific exams of different institutes across India.Must try to get into NIPER- Mohali, Hyderabad because rest NIPERs are not so good now because they are newly established and lacking proper resources. If fail to get admission in Niper then go for ICT- Mumbai, BHU, DIPSAR, Manipal,But do it honestly because industry need talented professionals ONLY.

Is it a good decision to drop one more year for GATE/ESE 2017,if I am not going to qualify GATE 2016 by self study?

Obviously YES.A Big YES...Thanks for A2A. But i did't get the sense in which you used the word "dropping".So,i am assuming that you have already spent one year preparing(self study or coaching) without pursuing a job.Even now if you want to take a chance and prepare once more, then just go ahead. Who is stopping you.!If you have the right will and enthusiasm, you will certainly make it next time.Nevertheless, it would have to be you and no one else who has to decide the way by which you will continue with your prep. May it be a self prep alongwith a job, or a fully devoted prep at some coaching institute.More or less, this decision depends oj your present level of prep.Read one of my another answer which could be of your help. : How can I prepare for GATE exam while working in a private sector as a mechanical engineer?
