How can I get a real person from Yahoo customer care talk to me ?
I have a problem with an email account, not mine but a close person. The account is viorelsimionescu, the provider is of course yahoo.com . It says it cannot be reset online but for security reasons (suspicions of illegal access) I need to contact a Y. representative. Now, please don t give me a telephone number, I m in Romania and before I pay something like $50 - $100 to fix a mail that s supposed to be free I ll switch to Google mail. I ve tried the facebook Y. customer care page at https://www.facebook.com/YahooCustomerCare but nobody answered in more than a day. Thanks.
Why does my yahoo email tell me my internet connection is currently unavailable after I log in?
Hi, Try Clearing History, Cookies and Cache, also Update the Internet Browser you are using at the moment or use a Different Internet Browser. To Contact Yahoo by Email, this can be done by clicking on HELP at the Bottom Right Hand side of the Yahoo Home Page under Horoscopes. Click on whatever Subject is best for you for more information, you can also Click on the Arrows for more options, or Type your Problem in the Search Help box. For more Help and advice you can also Go to the Right hand side of page and click on Contact Customer Care. Click on Select a Product, then select a Category or Version, page will reload for you to click on Sub Category. Make sure you fill in Brief Details of what has Happened, click Enter. Depending on the Category you select and the Sub Category you also select you may see at the Bottom of the Page for more help Click on EMAIL A SUPPORT AGENT. You may have to click on different ones and try variations. Or else there will be information there on the page to help with your problem. There will then be a Form to fill in. Fill in the form with as much information as you can remember about your security details and your yahoo account etc. Yahoo will then contact you at a Different Email Address that you need to give them. This email address CANNOT be a yahoo email one. You need to give them a different Email Address, it could be one that you already have or you will need to create a new one, Google, Hotmail, etc. You do this by clicking on Email and then click on Register and follow the instructions. They only need this Different Email Address to give you instructions regarding your yahoo account. When Yahoo send you an email, make sure you check the Trash and Spam folders as well as the Inbox in case it went in there instead. You will be asked to create a New Password, Best a hard to Guess One for anyone trying to access your Yahoo Account. I Would Also Strongly advise that you register an alternative email address and your Mobile Number/Cell Phone Number with Yahoo, that is done through Account Settings. (I Think). That way if your account is ever hacked or similar, a message should come up and they can send a code to your phone or other email address for you to then unlock your Yahoo Email Account. What is the phone number to a live person for yahoo customer service???
The reason I ask this is cause the email address and response for customer service is a joke. If you have trouble with your yahoo account, you might as well write it off cause emailing yahoo about it is like filling a bucket up that has a hole in it. I tried doing a google search for this number but even google can't find one that isnt automated. Its the damnedest thing I have ever seen. A corporation that doesn't have a customer service 800 number that gives you a live operator. Please feel free to comment on any trouble that has been had while finding a number, or trying to contact yahoo.

How do I reset my Yahoo account when I do not have access to my old phone number?
If you haven't given an alternative email, haven't configured security questions, and haven't provided a mobile number that is current, then thats 3 strikes. I can't advise you if you have neither of those 3 safeguards set. Try contacting Yahoo support, but your chances of regaining access don't look good.
