How Can I System Link My Xbox

Xbox system link help: out of sync?

What do you mean out of sync? Is it laggy? Do you lose connection to the other boxs in the network? Are you running a 360 or just an Xbox?

If it's a 360 and it's just laggy and bogs down...get used to it. The emulator program microsoft uses for the backwards compatible games just sucks. Halo 1 and Halo 2 are both laggy on the 360. Period. If it's laggy and bogs down on a regular Xbox, trying deleting all the other saved crap you have on your harddrive. This could especially be the case if you've had your box for a long time and have lots have saved games, music, etc on the box. This may or may not help though. I personally had a similar problem with one of my older boxes and eventually just got a new one. Electronic just get tuckered out after so much use and kinda crap out on you. That's life. Sorry.

If you are losing your connection to the other boxes on your network when you do system link then it could be a few things.
Your disk might be dirty, so check that.
Your network cable might be faulty.
The cable port on your box might also be faulty.

Those are all the most obvious things to check. Absolute worst case senerio is there is something wrong with the box itself and you're just gonna have to go out and get a new one. If you don't already have a 360, splurge and get one for cripes sake! Halo 3 will be out in less then 50 days!!!

How to play black ops 2 system link on xbox?

Hey, youve got to make sure you both have the same version, so you both need all the same updates etc, turn off both xboxs, plug ethernet from one into another and then power on, one person hosts and one person joins

Original Xbox System Link?

Use a switch or the two numbered ports on a router. You'll probably have to restart the xbox's after everything is connected. You'll have a solid green light on the back of the xbox when it has a good connection via ethernet cable. You'll also have the 2 numbered ports on the router lit up on the front of the router.

Then create a game via system link on one console and search for a game on the other console. You should find the game and be able to connect.

It shouldn't matter what type of cable you use if you use a newer router. The crossover cable switches a set of wires used for transmitting and receiving data. Newer devices will see that the wires are backwards and the processor inside the router will modify the connection to work. The only reason to use a crossover cable is to transfer data between two alike devices without any other device.

Anyway this should all work, if it doesn't then you either have a old router or are using a bad cable.

Good luck

How to do original xbox system link with halo 2?

You just need an ethernet cord that you can attach to the back of each of your Xbox's, linking them together. And obviously two T.V.'s for each Xbox.

XBOX 360 SYSTEM LINK / DEAD ISLAND HELP?

System Link is pretty straight forward. Its a local connection that needs to be done through a basic router (not an internet router), a hub. It allows everyone to share a connection through that hub and everyone shares an offline connection at the speeds in which the network allows. Any one person can host a game (create or setup a game), then everyone else goes into the system link gaming option and joins that hosts game. I havent heard if Dead Island is System Link yet or not? I heard I rumor it is, I hope so!
I have done numerous xbox 360 system link sessions with large groups, its awesome.

Halo: Reach system link?

Hey. Me and three of my friends are trying to system link two Xbox's to play Halo: reach together. We're doing two on each TV. We have the ability to connect both Xbox's directly with the ethernet cable and we can plug two ethernet cables into the router, both of which should work (but I'd rather the direct connect with one cord).

Our problem is that we can see each other in the "System Link" lobby but the two people on one Xbox are in one lobby and the other two people are in the other lobby. There's no way either of us can find somewhere to "host" a lobby or "join" the other Xbox's lobby. We are selecting "System Link" as the Network when we press Y in the Custom Game section of the menu but we can't find out what to do after that. Help?
