Is there a way to mentally erase an image from your mind?
When i was in elementary school, i saw an image of something that disgusted me and still does today. When I see it, it makes me feel sick and the image keeps popping into my head. You would think that after 10 years, I would have long forgotten about it but I haven't. Do I still need more time to just forget it or are there things I can do, I guess psychologically, to get the image out sooner?? It's been frustrating me every now and then over the past few years...
After submitting documents in Accenture, my status is Candidature in process since around a month. When should I expect the offer letter?
It’s been almost 6 months since I’ve given the interview and even after submitting all the documents, I haven’t received any offer letter or joining letter yet. So having lost all the hopes of getting one anytime soon, I’ve started searching for other jobs now. I’ve mailed the HR asking about it but I didn’t get any response. I just feel that it’s really sick to snatch away an opportunity from a person who was very happy to receive a job offer from Accenture. They could have straight away said a NO but they didn’t without realizing that people would wait for the offer letter for such a long time. So for people who’ve waited for a long time, like me, wake up guys! You’re not getting anything.
Why do Quora answers sometimes disappear when clicked?
Why is Quora malfunctioning so often? Today, answers disappear if you click on their comments, and if you click anywhere to do anything, the whole page with 7 answers goes blank.Yes this is happening to me too.The only answers I can read are the pre-chosen ones on the home page, but as soon as I click on the question title, it gives me an opportunity to answer that particular question, but any/all other answers just blank off the screen…I have been around Quora for awhile, but have never encountered this before - in fact I usually answer these sorts of questions!Please Quora, please expedite a fix…Edit : See comments below - it appears to be some issues with Ad Blocker, and if you set your Ad-Blocker to not interact with the Quora site, your access to answers will return - Many thanks to Erik Verhoef
