What aired for the WWF before Wrestlemania 1? I can't seem to find anything before Wrestlemania 1 from the WWF.

I assume you’re asking what programs then WWF had on television and not what program actually aired prior to the first Wrestlemania. Will make that assumption since Wrestlemania aired on PPV originally before being replayed at a later date on ABC.After making a single Google search here is your answer:List of former WWE television programming - WikipediaAs you will see WWE had All-Star Wrestling and Championship Wrestling as it’s main programming.

How were people in the UK watching WWF wrestling in the 1980's?

It’s split into two categories. Pre and post Sky TV. Post is pretty obvious, Sky signed up WWF pretty early on. Initially it was mainly “Superstars of Wrestling” and then the PPV’s came in too. What a lot of people may not recall is that pre Sky, once a month, on a Saturday afternoon there was an American Wrestling Special that formed part of the ITV program “World of Sport”. It was only half an hour long and took the place of UK wrestling every 4 weeks. My brother and I used to tape it and watch it over and over.

Someone please help me, I need to know about Steve Austin?

I will give 10 points to whoever could help me the most! Where can I find any legal documents on him...You know drivers license, marriage records, stuff like that. Please help me!

How are the WWE matches scripted? Do the superstars practice the moves before the match or the sequence of moves that they need to do? How real are the injuries that WWE wrestlers suffer?

Before I explain the scripted nature of pro-wrestling matches I first have to explain how the larger machine works. WWE has a large team of writers who pitch matches, feuds, rivalries and storylines to Vincent McMahon who makes all the final decisions. The scripting process starts with determining the winner of said match and then the writers will work backwards writing a “script” for how the match should go (if there are specifics spots they want the wrestlers to do to further the story of the match like when Brock Lesnar busted Randy Orton’s head open at Summerslam). Each match has a booking agent or a producer who’s job is to make sure the wrestlers get the scripts and learn their lines if there are promos to be recited, the rest of the match is really in the hands of the wrestlers. Matches are like choreographed dances, you know what beats you need to hit (like how Cena will always do the two shoulder tackles, then the slam into the five knuckle shuffle) but there is always room for improvisation cause things are bound to go wrong (botched moves, accidents, injuries).Wrestlers that have worked together a lot are like good dance partners, they know each other’s move sets and ultimately can predict how the other can move which can make for really good counters. On the other hand there are wrestlers who have never worked together before and are put into big high profile matches (Roman Reigns and The Undertaker) and some rehearsals might be necessary. There was an infamous video that leaked back in 2000 of The Rock and HHH at an arena rehearsing spots for their 60 minute Iron Man Match at Judgement Day, now WWE has the Performance Center where they can do those rehearsals behind closed doors.Injuries are very real because even though the results are scripted the offensive maneuvers, although scaled back, are very much real. Because of the extreme nature of his wrestling style throughout his career, Edge injured his neck multiple times resulting in him being diagnosed with Cervical Spinal Stenosis which basically means that over time the bones in his spinal cord began compressing into each other so if he took one more bump through a table or fallen off a ladder he would’ve been paralyzed from the neck down. It’s the same injury that forced Stone Cold Steve Austin, and more recently Paige, to retire.

Was WCW 'killed' because of that incident where the ending of a PPV was cut off early?

WCW was losing money on Live Events, Television Tapings and Pay Per Views. WCW Monday Nitro Television Ratings plummeted to the point where they were 1/3 of what WWF Monday Night Raw Is War. WCW Thunder's Ratings were lower than that and all WCW's Weekend Shows lost a significant portion of their viewing audience. WCW Merchandise Sales Dropped, Pay Per View Buyrates dropped. WCW lost more money in it's last 3 years than it lost in the previous 30 years combined. AOL Time Warner simply pulled the plug on WCW. AOL in particular was not happy owning a Professional Wresling Company, nor broadcasting Professional Wrestling Shows. You notice Time Warner never looked back and they never have broadcast Professional Wrestling ever again, once they shut down WCW. Read The Book: The Rise and Fall of WCW for more information.

What is the difference between Raw and Smackdown in WWE?

They are two different shows. Since the 2016 Draft for the most recent attempt at the brand extension, Raw and Smackdown have had their own unique roster. Both shows now air live but the main differences between the two shows include:Ropes of the ring. The ropes are red on Raw and blue on Smackdown.Different Rosters. Superstars such as Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns, Brock Lesnar and Sasha Banks can only be seen on Raw while other superstars like John Cena, Dean Ambrose and Randy Orton are exclusive to Smackdown. This is the idea of the Brand Extension, but we all know it won't stop Superstars from coming on the opposite show from time to time (As we have seen with Randy Orton being on Raw and Brock Lesnar showing up on Smackdown recently)The people in charge. Raw is run by Commissioner Stephanie McMahon and General Manager Mick Foley whereas Smackdown’s Commissioner is Shane McMahon with Daniel Bryan performing the role of the general manager.Different Championships. The Intercontinental Championship and the WWE World Heavyweight Championship are on the Smackdown brand due to the current titleholders, Dean Ambrose and The Miz respectively, being drafted to the show. Raw has the WWE Women’s Championship, the WWE Universal Championship, the WWE Tag Team championships and the United States championship. It is likely that once the new Cruiserweight division begins then there will be a WWE Cruiserweight Championship.Length of the shows. Raw is a three hour show, whIle Smackdown is on the air for two hours.Different announce teams. The announce team on Raw consists of Michael Cole, Corey Graves and Byron Saxton whereas their Smackdown counterparts are Mauro Ranallo, JBL and David Otunga. They air on different days. This is obvious, Raw airs on Monday while Smackdown airs on Tuesday. These are just a few of the of the main differences between Raw and Smackdown. They are not the only differences, as you will see when you closely analyze the two shows but they're just a few off the top of my head :)
