Pokemon FireRed - Safari Zone - Any tips?
Hi there, I've just reached the Safari Zone on my current playthrough of FireRed, and am having a terrible time trying to catch Tauros, Kangaskhan and Chansey. I've got no problem finding them, but the 'just throw balls and pray' method isn't panning put too well. I'm focusing on Kangaskhan at the moment, and have tried a few variations, but they never seem to stay put after two rocks. The best luck I've had with one was one piece of bait, and on the second ball it stayed shut until the last possible moment. So all that aside, any tips? And not ones that include the hold a or b or whatnot baloney. It's just superstition. :) Thanks for your help, The Anonymoose
What is the best way to catch scyther in the safari zone of pokemon firered?
It's really tough to find him and even harder to keep him from fleeing. But if you just keep looking in the first area you should be able to find one but then it's just luck if he stays in battle and I suggest using bait. Good luck!
Which 1st generation of Safari Zone Pokémon would be the best addition to my team? My team consists of Nidoking, Charizard, Exeggutor, Vaporeon, Tauros and Scyther.
Dratini/Dragonair can be found in the safari zone. They are hard to train to dragonite, but they are incredibly powerful.Chansey and rhyhorn/rhydon are also great choices.Your current team has two pokemon with x4 weaknesses to rock, and 3 with weaknesses to ice, 3 with electric weaknesses. I would recommend reducing the weaknesses on your team as well.
How do i catch Tauros and Dragonair?
Well with dragonair it stays there for ages when you find it so keep trying, also try and old rod. For tauros use a snacky thing several times to keep it there and then use several rocks, it usually works, also as soon as you have thrown the ball hold down B
Where can you find rare Pokémon in Pokémon Fire Red?
There is a cave in cerulean city…when u head to the north u will find a bridge then turn left and left again. Then walk south and u will find a river then use hm surf down the river. Walk a few steps and u will find a cave. If u have not been champion of the pokemon league and have not received the national dex, there will be a guy who won't let u in. Inside the cave lies ultra strong pokemon. i got my charizard to level 100 in the cave. Mewtwo can also be found there
In the Pokemon games, can you get a Tauros by breeding a Miltank with a Ditto?
Tauros is the male version of Miltank though, and Volbeat is the male version of Illumise. It's not like if I asked if you could breed a Skitty and a Wailord to get a Charmander.
Pokemon leaf green: how do u catch torous? bait or rock?
I used the following technique throw the bait first and the the rock and then the ball to catch the Taurus. So if u ask me bait/rock i say both of them. Ray ;)
Fire red pokemon team complete?
i have growlithe,venusaur,pikachu,gyadoras and butterfree but there still one pokemon left to complete my team whats your advice? i currently have 5 badges and learned surf
