I can't seem to connect my Playstaion 3 to the internet...wireless its asking me for SSID?
First of all check what the connection configuration is for the PS3. (I don't have one so I'm not sure where you can find, but it should be under some type of settings menu). Usually the SSID is the number that is given to your router (it should be on the back or bottom of your router or it should've been given to you when you set up your router). After putting those numbers and/or letters it should ask for your WEP or WPA password if your router requires it so that other computers can access your wireless internet. Then if it was done right, it should connect. You can always try setting the configuration to automatic (if you can) and let the PS3 search for available networks. If you can do so then again you will probably be asked for the security password. Hope this helps!!

I love technology, and consider myself pretty good with all aspects of it. I am a junior in college studying computer science, so I know about programming, and networking. I want to get a job related to my field "Computers", but I have no experience whatsoever. I have 5 years experience in hospitality and hotel management, but I hate it! I know if I get a degree in business or marketing I can get a really good paying job at a hotel. But, I really dislike hospitality. I need to know if these two certificates are worthy to pursuit. Would these two certificate get me at least 13-14 dollars an hour?
If I use someone's wifi, can they see what I'm doing?
They can see that you are connected, but unless they have some serious programs, they cannot se WHAT you are doing. Don't sweat it, they most likely don't care that you are using it or else they'd put a password on it.
Can i boost the reception on my laptops internal wireless card?
Hi, i wonder if anybody can help me please? my neigbour and i share our internet conection, the router is in her house and she is the one who has a bt line, but i pay her half for the broadband. she has the old wanadoo/orange live box, its fine when im in her house cos i can conect via my internal aerial on my laptop, however when i come back to my house i need to plug in an invetel external wireless adapter via a usb cable. this means that moving about comes difficult. does anybody know if there is a way i can boost my internal aerial or buy a high gain card that i can slot in to the side please?? your help would be mush appriciated. thanks

In addition to being held CRIMINALLY liable for any traffic THEY create, you are also FINANCIALLY liable for the bandwidth THEY use on YOUR router. So, if one of them surfs child porn, it will be YOUR ROUTER'S IP address that the cops trace and since it is *your* router, it's your crime. That plus in many jurisdictions it either has become, or is about to become illegal to have an unsecured wireless connection. An easier way to think about it...I borrow your car. I run a red light while speeding at 50kph over the limit at an intersection with a Traffic Control Camera. *I* won't receive the ticket...*you* as the RO of the car will receive it, and be liable for the whole extremely expensive amount.
