What is it like to be "Tumblr famous"?I wouldn’t know since I’m not “Tumblr famous” but I imagine it might be quite draining sometimes unless you’re willing to ignore it.I mean, I picture a “Tumblr famous” person as someone who’s got over 500k followers on their blog. I also picture them getting dozens of messages every day, not mentioning the thousands of notifications of reblogged and liked posts too.Personally, while in a way I’d like to experience that, for the most part I enjoy being just another Tumblr user. Being “famous” on any social network means your freedom has reached its end. You won’t be able to share any personal opinions without having everyone (over)analyzing them and certainly attacking you for them, you won’t be able to do anything without it being object of judgment from all your followers. And in this line, Tumblr is pretty well-known for having a quite intolerant community even though many “movements” start there.
How many followers do you consider being Tumblr famous and how do you get more followers?

Can my personal blog get famous? (Tumblr)?
So I've been reading on how to get famous on tumblr, and part of the thing I read said that most personal blogs don't get famous... I have a personal blog and I want more flowers. I post different pictures, short stories, gifs, and quotes... And more. It's pretty random. I'm going to make separate blogs, one about celebrities, and another about fandoms. I wanted to have that blog all in one, but idk... PLEASE help!!! Should I just keep posting all my interests on my regular blog? Or should I make separate blogs with more of a theme? Since you know more themed blogs get more popular... Thanks so much!!!
What's it like being famous on Instagram or Tumblr?
I do not consider myself famous. I have about 900 followers on my My Little Pony art blog on Tumblr, which is not much considering how many followers other artists have. But I can tell you the following: It depends on how you treat your fans.I cherish everyone of my followers, and I always check which people like my stuff most, and try to remember them. Whenever I livestream my art, I speak directly to my fans, thank them for coming and try to be as kind as possible, and it really pays of! People are kind to me as well. For example I noticed that I receive a lot more paid commissions than other artists who don’t care about their followers or act rude. A few weeks ago, when I told a fan that I was a power metal fan, he sent me a gift, a full album by Wintersun, and didn’t want anything in return. Another fan sent me a copy of Skyrim for free. I am truly thankful for all these gifts, and I always think “Girl, you need to repay these people” - but I do, everytime I post my art.

How did Acacia Brinley become Tumblr famous?
First rule of Tumblr, don't talk about Tumblr. Seriously. Second, Acacia's story is sort of long. She first started a tumblr account and posted racy pictures on here (of herself in her bra, underwear, you get the point). Then, she got a lot of hate on the account for posting bad pictures so she ended up deleting the account. Tumblr didn't get her fame though, it was mainly because of Sam Pottorff. He is a famous Youtuber and they started dating back then and then ended up breaking up because Acacia supposedly used Sam just to get with his best friend, Kian. She was also sending nude pictures to other guys when she was dating Sam, and this was all at a very young age. This is when people got the most angry. She got death threats daily. She still gets death threats and she probably has more haters than fans. But point is, don't do what she did just for a little Internet attention. No attention is better than negative attention. After all that happened, she started a Youtube channel for her fanbase that was created all because she dated Sam Pottorff. I guess you can basically say she's famous for dating a famous dude and because she's pretty to some people. She started making Youtube videos just talking about herself and singing and stuff like that. She isn't a good singer. She joined this girl band with 3 members but got kicked out of it. And people hate Acacia because she tries to get with every celebrity boy like the boys from 5 Seconds of Summer, One Direction, Emblem 3, Janoskians, Dylan Holland, Austin Mahone, etc. She's sort of annoying and I don't like her but this is the true story. I know this because I'm a fan of Sam Pottorff and I've sort of been there along the whole ride :\ And don't use Tumblr for fame. You're going to get LOTS of hate.
