How do I cope with my boyfriend moving away?
My boyfriend is moving away and I don't know what to do. We've been friends for 4 years and have been dating for 4 months. He left this morning, and I'm already a mess. I cried all day yesterday pretty much non stop, and today I've been crying on and off. I am used to seeing him every day, and now I will only see him every once in a while. I am completely devastated. I really don't think I've ever been this upset. How do I deal with him moving? I can't go on like this!

Well we were goin out for about 3 weeks & he was having family problems , so he told me he was leaving to mexico & we ended breaking up , i didnt hear from him for like about a week he told me he wouldnt have wifi but he ended up being online on facebook , my friends told me they saw him at some pools & that he didnt leave , i didnt believe them until he posted pictures of him with his friends at the pools my friends were talkin about, & i messeged him asking why he lied to me & he said he didnt , & now supposivle hes coming back & hes asking me To get back together .. But i told him we needed to talk in person first idk if i shouls go back with him i still like him but then i dont ? I need help someone please ? No rude answers please .. I hope i make sense

girl you have nothing to worry about, honestly. this will be good for your relationship and your academics as well. i dont know him, but i do know that most bf can be a distraction on our lives, that being said having that distance between him and your studies will give you an advantage as oppose to having him around you 24/7, which is what it sounds like your relationship is at the moment. as for you worrying over whether or not this will damage the bond you two have, i think there is a good chance it could strengthen it. as they say, absense makes the heart grow founder. true he is only 30 mins away (and that is nothing!) but, i assume your classes will be taking up most of your free time, and you may see less and less of him. but that makes the time that you do spend with him-- that much more special!

Awww…it is hard when family members move away and not be as close anymore!! I moved from Eastern Canada to Texas when I was 19 to attend University and I left all my family behind. Back then… only could connect via phone (attached to a wall!! ha ha). I had each visit to look forward. Do you know when you will see him next? Luckily…we have great ways to stay in touch with technology!! Make plans to Facetime or Skype. I still live far from my family and that is how we connect. Sometimes…I will just prop my phone up on the table and face time my Mom during supper…we joke about having dinner together. Is he moving away for college or work?
