Will I lose installed games on my PS4 if I reset it?

To clarify, other answers were correct but I aim to help. If you factory reset your PS4 you will indeed lose your installed games. To get them back simply sign into your PSN account again and download them from the store again if they were digital purchases. If they were physical copies simply put the game in the system and it will begin downloading the updates.Secondly(and this is most important before a reset) if you want to keep all your game progress and saves, back up your save data. There are two easy ways to do this. The simplest way is to has a PS Plus subscription and back all your files up to the cloud storage Sony provides. Another method which doesnt require you to necessarily download everything again is to back EVERYTHING up to an external hard drive connected to your console. I keep a 2TB hard drive hooked to my console for storage but if you ever have to reset the console it serves tp preserve all your installed data.

Can I download a game to ps4 from my friend's account and play? What should I need to know before doingit? Can I get banned from psn? Can I play it from my account after downloading?

I will try give a understanding here:PS4 A - yours (in your house)PS4 B - friend's (in his/her house)You, log in PS4 A, but PS4 A is not your primary device. This means, you can play your games bought from PSN, as long as you log in as this account. You, then log in PS4 B, your friends, and activate his/her PS4 as your primary. This means, he/she now can play your PSN games you bought from his/her account. When you go back to your house, and you log in again in PS4 A, your account in PS4 B won't be deleted, but will be logged out from PS4 B. Your friend still can play your PSN games (because primary account PS4 can access all master's library). There's a real drawback here for you because you activate your primary PS4 in PS4 B: You can't download games by using computer to your PS4 A (trigger remote download) because you claim that your PS4 is PS4 B. This will instead causing PS4 B download the game you buy, not the PS4 A.Your PS+ auto-upload features (only auto-upload) can't be activated in PS4 A, because your "designated primary PS4" is PS4 B. You still can manually upload your save data to cloud storage from PS4 A, but this is a hassle. Then there you go if you want to "share" your games with your friend.

I want a PS3 Virtual Memory card save for Socom: Combined Assault everything unlocked?

Virtual Memory Cards are only available for PS1 and PS2 games. PS3 game saves correspond to your own profile.

Do I need to use the same disk to continue playing a PS4 game?

No, you do not the same exact disc to continue playing. In addition to your example of letting your friend borrow a game that never got returned, then replacing it … let’s say you rent a game disc from Redbox and play for a time (and create saved games), then return that game disc. Later you decide you want to buy a copy from the store and continue playing. No problem at all. You can pick right back up where you left off with any game disc that you can get your hands on, even by borrowing a friend’s copy.Game discs are not serial numbered or tied to a specific installation. Game saves are also not tied to a specific game disc. This is why you can replace game discs without any problems. You can even download the digital version from the PS Store and continue your game right were you left off with the same game saves.

If I bought a game from the PlayStation store, could I play it on a second PS4 console if I sign in with my account?

Sony clarifies PS4 game-sharing rules ahead of launch“There's no limit to the number of consoles you can download a game on, but only two games can be played concurrently — one on your primary system, one on a secondary console, which you must be logged into. Sony has also revealed you'll be able to change which PS4 is your primary system if you need to.”- 2013Sharing Downloaded Games on Multiple PS4s?“[The other person] would only have access to your games by logging into your account on her PS4. If you are playing at home, and [that person] logs into your account, one your PS4 your game will stop and you'll get a message that it was logged in somewhere else. [The] best way, if [the other person] has PS Plus use Shareplay to have [them] play the game with you that way as a guest.- 2017

What does it mean when my ps3 says to connect storage media?

It means the PS3 does not have the System Software installed, and the only way to install the System Software is to plug in an external device (external HDD, USB thumb drive, etc) that has the latest software update (which is currently 3.72).

If you need to download the System Software, do it from the Official Software site only: http://us.playstation.com/support/system...

If the PS3 is used (I am assuming since it says you need version 3.50), and you are trying to Jailbreak it, then you do not want the Official Firmware.
