Test Mode - Windows 7 - Build 7601 ?

"The test mode watermark can appear if the test signing mode is started on the computer. This test mode may occur if an application whose drivers are not digitally signed by Microsoft is installed and still in the test phase. Microsoft added test mode to Windows so that users can test programs without having to provide an authentication certificate. The message that is mentioned in the "Symptoms" section is displayed in the lower-right corner of the desktop when the computer is running in test mode."

To remove it, go to http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2509241 and click the "Fix It" button near the bottom of the page.

How do I turn off the shared system memory in Windows 7?

If you’re referring to the system memory (RAM) allocated for graphics/GPU purposes, it’s not something you can change from within Windows. If adjustable at all, it would be within the BIOS.What’s the issue you’re trying to solve?

How do I use my RAM as the graphics card memory in Windows 7?

System RAM cannot be used as Graphical RAM, (GPU Memory) because they are different things.Let’s take a random example of a typical high-end GPU’s RAM. Let’s say the GPU has 12GB of GDDR5 memory. The extra G ahead of DDR stands for Graphical. This is because GDDR memory is specifically created to deal with texture maps and other graphical elements. To use system RAM as Graphical RAM would be pointless for a few reasons and thus impossible. For starters, it is already used by the GPU when extra memory is needed when loading textures and other data. More often than not however, it is not used simply because of the distance on the motherboard. In order for data to be loaded into RAM form the GPU instructions have to be sent from the CPU to the GPU, to the RAM. This takes a long time to do in a computational sense. To simply use on-board GPU memory is a lot faster.TL;DR you computer already uses system RAM as GPU RAM, but only does so when it has to.

How do I increase virtual memory in windows 7?

Windows sets the initial minimum size of the paging file(virtual memory) equal to the amount RAM installed, and the maximum size equal to three times the amount of RAM installed. If you see warnings saying that the virtual memory is low, you'll need to increase the minimum size of your paging file. To increase virtual memory, follow these steps :Open System properties by clicking the Start button, right-clicking Computer, and then clicking Properties. In the left pane, click Advanced system settings. If you're prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation. On the Advanced tab, under Performance, click Settings.Click the Advanced tab, and then, under Virtual memory, click Change.Clear the Automatically manage paging file size for all drives check box.Under Drive [Volume Label], click the drive that contains the paging file you want to change.Click Custom size, type a new size in megabytes in the Initial size (MB) or Maximum size (MB) box, click Set, and then click OK.Note: Increases in page file size usually don't require a restart for the changes to take effect but decreases do.

Since Windows 7, why does winver not display the memory size (in KB) anymore?

Because we no longer deal with memory in KiB or MiB.We deal with memory in GiBThis is the winver window. It doesn’t mention any RAM amountYou’re thinking of when you right click “Computer/My Computer/This PC” and click on properties or use the Control Panel “System” iconThis is what you would see this where you get the smallest memory number. In my case it is 32.0GBor this33554432KBWhich would be better expressed for the average user?
