Travelling Europe in winter?
Hi there, so I'm planning a trip to Europe and the time I have free happens to fall in winter (December/January) The list of countries I want to visit has: -Portugal -Spain -France (Southern parts) -England (London) -Netherlands (Amsterdam) -Czech Republic -Croatia -Greece -Italy (Rome, Venice, Florence) Now aside from the snow, I hear that it rains quite a lot particularly in the countries especially along the mediterranean latitudinal belt. I don't mind the rain, but I don't want the rain to ruin my adventures of going out there and exploring/seeing the places. I'd also like to experience Europe's nightlife, becasue it's rumoured to be awesome. Could anyone advise me I'd it's still a good idea to go, and which of these places are still good to visit in winter (and which aren't). I'd also like recommendations for other places to go in winter in Europe.
$20,000 budget for six months in Europe?
Hello, My partner and I are both going to budget $20,000 each for a six month holiday in Europe, the countries we foresee visiting are the following: -Turkey -Italy -Spain -France -England -Germany There maybe others but where just not sure!! We will be backpacking most of it as well, just need to know whether or not we have under budgeted, any tips would be great. Thanks
