How Do I Use The Dlc I Copied To My Usb From Someone Else

Do I need to use the same disk to continue playing a PS4 game?

No, you do not the same exact disc to continue playing. In addition to your example of letting your friend borrow a game that never got returned, then replacing it … let’s say you rent a game disc from Redbox and play for a time (and create saved games), then return that game disc. Later you decide you want to buy a copy from the store and continue playing. No problem at all. You can pick right back up where you left off with any game disc that you can get your hands on, even by borrowing a friend’s copy.Game discs are not serial numbered or tied to a specific installation. Game saves are also not tied to a specific game disc. This is why you can replace game discs without any problems. You can even download the digital version from the PS Store and continue your game right were you left off with the same game saves.

PS4 game sharing question. Can 3 people play a game that only 1 person download on 3 different PS4's?

PS4 Game sharing is the official Sony feature that lets you share digital games with friends, and draws a parallel to how easy you could share physical games with friends. As Digital games are becoming the norm, system exists on the PS4 to let you share your digital games and is officially supported by Sony.PS4 Game sharing with 3 people – tutorialJust to clear it up, the 3rd person is the holder of the account. It is NOT 1 owner and 3 other people. Also In case you do not know what PS4 game sharing is. It’s exactly what it sounds like. Sharing games.Step 1: Put your account as secondary on your PS4. Your first friend can activate his PS4 as your primary PS4. You can find this option in the settings: Settings > PlayStation Network/Account Management > Activate as Your Primary PS4 > Activate.Congrats, If you made it that far, you’re in “typical” PS4 Game sharing mode: your friend can play and download your games without using your login information because his PS4 is your primary PS4. You, on the other hand, can still play and download your games on any PS4 (including yours) because you have your credentials. You can stop here if you only want to share your games with one Friend, but keep reading if you want to share with a third person.Step 2: After the first friend has downloaded (Mooched off) the games he wants, tell him to launch a game. Only Launching.NOTE: I don’t have any proof that you NEED to do the launch thing,But I’ve read it on some places so worth trying anywaysStep 3: After this, Login to the PSN Site Online and select the ‘Deactivate devices’ setting. Do tell your first friend not to sign in again thoughCan mess things up. The games will still work on his console as long as you do this.NOTE: This deactivate option is only available every 6 months, so if you’ve already deactivated it once, sorry no way past that.Step 4: Afterwards, give the account information to your second friend and let him mooc- I mean download games off of you. Here again, set his console as your primary PS4 again.Step 5: Let your second friend keep the account as primary because YOU (The Owner) will probably just play on this account (Secondary works OK) Your friends will be able to play YOUR games from THEIR accounts.

Is it possible to download a digital version of disc based games and play the game without the disc on PS4?

Unfortunately that’s not how it works. The disc based version will use the hard-drive and the disc simultaneously for data retrieval, that’s why it needs the disc in the drive. The digital download version needs to be reprogrammed to use only the hard-drive. This means that the coding is different in each version. It’s one of the reasons why the download versions are so expensive. The other reason is greed, but that’s a different question :)If you bought a disc then they can’t let you download the digital version as well. What’s to stop you giving the disc to a friend, so they can do the same? Your friend would essentially get the game for free, so they won’t let that happen. If you want to play games without the disc then you need to purchase the digital download version of the game. That’s the only legal way as far as I know :)Reddit says that you can install from disc, delete the game from your PS4 and then go to your library and get the game again. When I had a look it offered to sell me the digital version, so I guess it’s just somebody trolling :)

Can I download a game to ps4 from my friend's account and play? What should I need to know before doingit? Can I get banned from psn? Can I play it from my account after downloading?

I will try give a understanding here:PS4 A - yours (in your house)PS4 B - friend's (in his/her house)You, log in PS4 A, but PS4 A is not your primary device. This means, you can play your games bought from PSN, as long as you log in as this account. You, then log in PS4 B, your friends, and activate his/her PS4 as your primary. This means, he/she now can play your PSN games you bought from his/her account. When you go back to your house, and you log in again in PS4 A, your account in PS4 B won't be deleted, but will be logged out from PS4 B. Your friend still can play your PSN games (because primary account PS4 can access all master's library). There's a real drawback here for you because you activate your primary PS4 in PS4 B: You can't download games by using computer to your PS4 A (trigger remote download) because you claim that your PS4 is PS4 B. This will instead causing PS4 B download the game you buy, not the PS4 A.Your PS+ auto-upload features (only auto-upload) can't be activated in PS4 A, because your "designated primary PS4" is PS4 B. You still can manually upload your save data to cloud storage from PS4 A, but this is a hassle. Then there you go if you want to "share" your games with your friend.

Can I download the skyrim dlcs from my friend's profile on my xbox?

If your roommate is willing, you can always License Transfer!

This will allow you to download anything he's purchased on his account FREE OF CHARGE.

How to:
(1) Download his profile on YOUR xbox if it's not on yours already
(2) Sign-in with it and navigate to Account Management -> License Transfer
(3) Complete the transfer and then go to Account Management -> Download History
(4) Pick anything and everything that you want to download while still logged in on his account
(5) Enjoy your FREE stuff :)

The only drawback to License Transferring is that your roomy won't be able to transfer his license to anyone else for another 6 months.

Note:Transferring his License won't affect him in any way except for the 6 month wait, meaning he can still purchase and download things as usual.

Hope this helped!

Edit: You don't have to be signed in on his account to access the content once it's downloaded. It's safe to use your own account.

Do physical games (cards) use storage on a Nintendo Switch?

Well yes but it differs a little from game to game. Some games use really small blocks of data for storing save files on. Some use bigger blocks like NBA 2K18 generally because the game itself is pretty big and just because they want to save some money on the production cost I guess (usually it’s printed on the package if this is the case) and this only applies to a few games. On the other hand I personally actually prefer to just insert a huge SD card of somewhere around 200GB and then just download everything I want to play, it just makes switching between games so much easier while on the go.
