How Do Movie Theaters Get The Movies First

How do i start a first kiss in the movie theater?

There are some nice romantic parts of the movie. Also, sometimes it's the scary parts of a movie that make cuddling the easiest.

The hard part for two people who've never kissed before is that kissing when you're both sitting and facing the same way can get tricky. You both have to turn toward each other and then turn your heads so your noses don't bump.

The good part is that you know she wants you to kiss her so there's no chance of her pulling away from you. I think you should make your move early so you can relax and enjoy the rest of the movie. Maybe even during the previews or at the beginning of the movie there should be a part where Katniss is in the woods with Gale. They like each other so it should be a little bit romantic.

First, if you're right handed sit with her on your left or vise versa. This way when you put your arm around her you'll have your dominant hand free. So, put your arm around her, lean over and whisper in her ear something like, "Have I told you how good you look today? Your hair smells so good" and then sort of nuzzle your face into her hair and kiss her ear. This should make her sort of giggle and lean into you a bit. Now use your other hand to reach over and stroke her cheek, then gently cup her cheek/chin in your hand and pull her face around and lean in for the kiss. Go slowly!!

Don't go for a big face sucking kiss right there. Just a nice little 5-10 second kiss followed up by 2-3 little pecks would be perfect for a movie. Then take your arm back from around her shoulders and hold her hand. Your arm will go to sleep in no time if you try to leave it around her for very long so don't put it around her until you're close to making your move.

Touching her face and cupping her cheek/chin as you kiss her is a move that you can use your whole life. Nearly all women love it and will consider it romantic. It's also good because it allows you to position her face so your less likely to bump noses. A secondary part of this move is to look into her eyes and run your thumb gently along her bottom lip right before you lean in to kiss her.

Good luck! BTW, be sure to kiss her goodnight too.

At what age did you first take your child to a movie theater?

I’m curious to know at what age you took your child to their first big screen movie!? My son is 3 yrs old and loves to sit and watch a movie, but I wonder if he’d ever sit through a movie at the movie theater. He’s a loud kid and loves to talk about what he sees on screen (sometimes) and well…I don’t know if he’s too young or if he’d be okay. And yes, the only way to know is to give it a try…but I’m a little unsure so I don’t know.

So please share what your child’s first experience was at the movies and was it a good or bad one?

What do movie theaters do with posters after the movie leaves their theater? Could I get one for free?

Sometimes they have to give them back to the movie studios, the posters are actually plastic to facilitate lighting them. When they don't have to return them, managers and employees get first dibs on the posters, first come first serve. I would ask a manager at your local theater if it would be possible that you could get the poster, given that they don't have to return it and no employees have already "reserved" the poster.

It's the same with the cardboard standees, just about. Most often, they are thrown away, though pieces may be kept for employees. I kept the tagline for the Clerks II standee, "With No Power Comes No Responsibility." Most often, I see the standees thrown away. Some have to be returned to the studio. We had a life-sized standee of the Silver Surfer for the new Fantastic Four movie that had to be sent back. Once again, ask a manager to find out if you could possibly keep the standee.

How to have your first kiss in a movie theatre?

Is working at a movie theater a good first job?

If you are able to do the work, and if your boss isn't a jerk, then yes, it's a good first job. It has the advantage that you get to see movies free (at least you did when I had that job). It might a little more interesting than working in fast-food.

What you do in your first job doesn't matter so much, because it's not going to be your life's work, your career. It's just a job. If it turns out you can't stand it and you quit, or even if you get fired, you don't feel like a failure.
