How to change sender name in Yahoo Mail?

So I got married and changed my last name under "Account Info" but when i send an email it still shows my old last name as the "sender" or "from" name.

The option to change your sender name used to be under "Mail Options", "General Preferences", "Name and Email".

However the new format of Yahoo Mail has gotten rid of "General Preferences" for "General" and under that tab, there is now no "Name and Email".

I've searched all the tabs and cannot find where to change my "sender" name.
If you know where this is, please let me know!
Thank you!

Change email name?

If you don't to lose any email, I am not sure which service provider you are using, but here is what I would do. Create a new account. When regular people contact you: Then on the old account, use an Out of Office type reply stating that your new email has changed to "whatever the new address is" and that you won't be checking the old account and you suggest they use the new one. Therefore any important emails will find there way to your new account and most likely be updated in their address book. For services and important sites (big companies) that use automated emailing processes. You are going to want to keep an eye on important emails coming through, then login to those websites and change your email address to the new one so you continue receiving your emails that are important to you. For all the rest of the email that we didn't cover above, you could most likely use an Auto Forwarder to send all email from the old account and forward it to the new account, however this may see seamless to you and when you go to reply to someone your account will look different from the original (old address) they sent to. If you do all three, after some time, it will be like it never happened.

How do I change my last name (since I've married) that appears on outgoing emails as sender along w/user name?

Since marrying I've had people ask us why I haven't changed my maiden name to my married name on my yahoo account. So when people get an email from me they at first don't realize it is me because they know me as my married name. For example instead of it saying (not my real user name) Keegansmom@yahoo "Patty Hollerback" I want it to say Keegansmom@yahoo "Patty Marriedname", can anyone help me with this?

How do I change my name on my e-mail address? I want to edit my user name (I don't mean signature).

I got my email address a long time ago, don't want to change it because I really really like it! The problem though is that I really should edit the name I registered it with. I am not talking about my signature, that I know how to change. I just mean the name which will automatically pop up when I send a someone an email. I checked the area where you can change your details, password, etc..but it doesn't appear to give you any option for changing your name! Pity, though...if anyone has an answer/solution to my question then please post!
