Is it illegal to post song covers on Youtube?
Technically, I think it is. It 100% is illegal an in violation of youtube regulations IF you're making money. Most cover songs are on there because no celebrity is going to sue the creator of a video that has, idk 2000 views. It's not worth it for them, it's a huge waste of time, they wouldn't gain anything, and people who do covers are inadvertently promoting their music. (edit: also, if people enjoy covers of songs, why would they report them? even if people disliked it, they'd probably just move onto another video instead of going through the effort to report it) But youtube doesn't generally allow people to become partners with them if they are getting views on cover songs. And least, that's what they say in their terms and conditions. But with musical instruments, you're not going to get in trouble… People rarely get in trouble for this anyway. The absolute worst they can do is take down your video, and that's unlikely to happen.

Weird Symbols instead of Japanese?
I just downloaded all of these songs and all the japanese characters came out as weird symbols and stuff ( like this: ÎáÒàπt£¨€ï€ì€â€“€œ£© ) and now I dont know the names of the songs or artists!! ANY HELP PLEASEE

i agree fatherXdaughter is quite disgusting. but the twin thing doesn't bother me at all. in Ouran High School Host Club with the twins i actually found it sweet, and not at all repulsive. it just depends on the story line, if the twins in ohshc didn't have the bond that it displayed in the flash backs, or weren't in the host club it would be VERY disturbing. i agree that it does depend on the story.

Well, I have a mac and I have seen that no vocaloid voicebanks work on macs, only PCs. So, I looked around on Google a bit and found that there is a vocaloid called Nana Macne that can be used in Garageband and all that stuff. So I want to know where I can download her from. I need a G00D, Anime/Manga right now to watch/read. And I feel like I've been through every one that has appealed to my tastes. And every time I ask a question similar to this one I get the SAME THING. So I'm going tell you specifically what I need. I just want something with a cute/ SEXY possessive/jealous guy,something detailed I can't stand a good story but they have bland looking characters. It has to have romance by the way. It doesn't have to be the main focus but it needs to be there where Im satisfied enough. Examples- Vampire knight, 0uran high, Junketsu +Kareshi, Inuyasha, Dengeki Daisy, Watashi ni Shinasai, 0jousama wa ojousama?, Vampire Kiss and a whole bunch of others. What exactly is Vocaloid?
Okay so that anime with like Len and Rin and Miku and those guys? So what exactly is Vocaloid, because I've been trying to figure out what they are but I always come up blank!
Do vocaloids have personalities? If so, what are some common personality types that vocaloids are programmed to exhibit?
Vocaloids are simply voices in a box and the composer is free to give whatever personality he/she wants to the Vocaloid. Sometimes, the song will be in the point of view of the composer, and the Vocaloid is just a medium to sing his/her song just like any other instrument. However, some do tend to have similar personalities carry into multiple songs, although there are always exceptions:Hatsune Miku: Your typical, bubbly, teenage pop diva. She sings the widest range of songs, as the most popular Vocaloid, so her personality is a little tough to define. But she's usually seen smiling.Kagamine Rin/Len: Rin is often portrayed noisy, excitable, fun-loving and at times, obstinate or selfish. Her powerful voice is great for rock music, and she's my personal favorite. Len is her introverted and more prudent twin brother, boyfriend, and/or mirror image who has almost as much luck as Kenny from South Park. If they're shown together, they tend to be joined at the hip. These two also have a tendency to be singing darker songs or the ones that make you cry. They both have a little evil in them, just try not to cross them and they probably won't run you over with their giant, yellow roadroller.Megurine Luka: An adult with a softer, more serious voice. She tends to play sad, emotional characters in her songs.
