How Good Is Wasteland 2

American Wasteland or THUG 2?

Personally, I would get American Wasteland. It has a massive campaign with lots of side missions, It has BMXs and Is just a great game full stop. The only thing It lacks Is Cars and Motor Vehicles being that Tony Hawk's Underground 2 has Motor Vehicles.
Overall, American Wasteland Is what I would recommend.
One thing I will say is whatever you do, DON'T get Tony Hawk's: Project 8. It's about as good as THPS2 on PS1. It's far too arcadey for my liking all though It looked really good.

And when you say "And now I have money", What do you mean? They are old games and are on PS2 so would be £2-5 If you look in Gamestation, Amazon.co.uk or Play.com.

Anyways, I believe you will make the right choice. If you are unsure then get a second opinion, Look on Gamespot for reviews, YouTube for gameplay videos and generally research each game to see what other people think.

Is it true that Wasteland 2 was made with Unity?

Yes, Wasteland 2 is being made using the Unity. Here is a blog post from InExile Entertainment CEO Brian Fargo explaining why the developer chose Unity as their game engine:http://wasteland.inxile-entertai...

Is this a good claim(thesis statement)?

Your argument (or "bite", depth) in your thesis is just below the surface - go ahead and make it a little clearer for your reader. You are "spot on" in working the word "wasteland" - just list three ways in which you see that (and each way becomes a paragraph).

Does anything spring to mind if you rewrite it as follows?

While Donny in "Teenage Wasteland" exemplifies many stereotypes of the slacker generation, a closer examination ultimately incriminates the suffocation from his mother, the unrealistic and impersonal psychology of the school staff, and the slightly misguided role of the tutor overstepping his boundaries as key components of the "wasteland" Anne Tyler sees victimizing today's troubled teens.

good luck :)

P.S. The word "links" is slightly weak and does not belong in a thesis - it's what boring linking verbs were named for, after all ;-)

What are some good crpg games that help fill the void between DnD sessions?

Well if you want something that directly imitates DND, look no further than the Baldurs Gate series: one of the early ones and based directly off of the Forgotten Realms setting. If you want something more modern, I recommend Pillars of Eternity: a great rpg and one of the modern releases along with the likes of Wasteland 2 and Divinity Original sin one can credit to the revival of the genre.Or if you want something else by POE’s devs, Tyranny is a less dense, easier to dip your toes in crpg which has the interesting concept of playing as the bad guy.And then there’s everyone’s classic darling: Planescape Torment, king of the infinity engine era crpgs.

What is a good video game to play that is similar in style to the Fallout series?

I’m told the Wasteland series is similar to the older, isometric Fallouts. Which should be expected as Fallout was inspired by Wasteland and people from the former game worked on the latter. While the first Wasteland is over just 20 years old, Wasteland 2 was released in 2014.In that same vein, theres the gritty Looney Tunes reboot - I mean, Mutant Year Zero. Also isometric, also post-apocalypse, also turn based. But if you want games similar to the new Fallouts, the upcoming Rage 2 looks somewhat similar. Judging by the trailers, it’s a lot more unhinged and whacky, but looks more along the lines of the new first/third-person games.

How does Wasteland 2 compare to Fallout 1/2?

You will find it to have a lot more in common with Wasteland than Fallout, for starters! I find it to be a great game, as it's well written, well structured, and has an excellent atmosphere. Though balancing could use some work, the character system is not marred by a sudden system switch (GURPS to SPECIAL, which broke the balance in favor of diplosniper) and you really do need a well rounded squad to succeed in the game. I think the emphasis on squad, rather than the individual hero is what sets it apart and gives it a much different atmosphere than Fallout. It's also a lot more light-hearted, playful, and colourful than our favourite retrofuturistic series.

How to host a good sims 2 graduation party?

The more + signs you have the better the party is. I normally just get a radio and make my sim talk to as many people as possible and get them to crank out the ++ signs.
I would invite anyone you can, doesnt really matter, but I would choose people you have a high relationship with.

If you want to buy more items, try things that more than 1-2 sims can do at a time. I think the bubble machine (looks like a large hookah) is very fun and 4 people can use it at once.

Happy Simming
