Yes. Years ago, near where I lived - a breeding was going on of Walker Hounds, beautiful dogs. Anyway, one was born, looking like a Doberman. That dog immediately went to the local pound. Someone adopted him and he was passed along until he was mine. Everyone knew the dog, he was famous because people just couldn’t keep a secret about the litter. He was my doggie for 19 years. One day he was crying at the door. I opened the door and he stood there like.. he wanted me to come with him. I sat on the step with him barefoot and we prayed together. He would bow his head when I prayed. When I was done, reciting the 23rd Psalm, I asked him if he would like to walk together. We knew that he had lung cancer. As I turned to grab my shoes, he took off like a bolt. I never saw him again, I think he was leaving to go die alone. I don’t think he wanted me or my children to see him die.Four years later, I was in the same house, and I was running the vacuum in the living room. My four year old, pre-K daughter screamed - don’t run over the big doggie, Mom! I looked at her. And I asked, what does the doggie look like. She said he’s black and tan. No one had ever told her, that his favorite spot was in front of the fire place at night, and that’s where I was working. I believe he stayed with our family for a very long time. I still miss him very much.
Does a male rabbit need to fall off of the doe for her to get pregnant?
I have been trying to breed my male and female rabbits but the female will NOT raise her tail for him and is always trying to get away from him when he tries mating with her but in the beginning she would let him hump her but it didnt look like she was raising her tail, so he would hump her plenty of times but never did that jump thing that males do when mating. So I was just wondering if he needs to do that "jump and fall off" thing that males are said to do when they ejaculate for her her to be pregnant (I was starting to think she is already pregnant and that's why she won't accept him.) thank you!
When should i separate my male from my pregnant female guinea pig?
Now is the time! If you think that she is 8 weeks she could really be further along and/or could deliver early. You absolutely, positively and for sure do not want him in with her when she litters since she will become both fertile and receptive within about 4 hours of delivery and could be re-bred. These rapid repeat matings are very hard on a sow and should be avoided. EDIT You absolutely do NOT need to worry about the boar harming the pups. The separation is to prevent re-breeding only

Before you do anything, keep this in mind: bring the doe to the buck. after you put them in the cage wait to see if they arent fighting. then leave them alone for about 20 min. then take the doe rabbit out and put it back in her cage. PUT IN MIND: RABBIT GESTATION PERIOD= 30 DAYS. That means thirty days after the date she may possibly have babies. At the 25 day mark put in what you call a "nest box". It is a box that has a square base, slanted on both sides, and has a 2 in. board on top. KEEP IN MIND SHE MAY HAVE THEM ANYTIME NEAR THE GESTATION PERIOD. If you have further questions contact me.
CANARY: After mating how long female canary takes time to lay eggs.?
In my experience, I use breeding cages with a removable divider. I place the hen on one side with the nest and materials. Once she starts building the nest, I remove the divider. Most times (but not always) the male will help her build the nest. In one or two days, the hen will produce her first egg, but won't sit full time. She will produce 3 or four eggs and start incubating in earnest. Normally, my birds will produce the first 3 or 4 eggs two days apart. Many breeders will remove the first 3 eggs and replace them with false eggs, reserving the original eggs in a container of seeds (for cushion). I have actually used M&M Almonds since they are the same size as canary eggs. False eggs insure that the eggs hatch all in the next two days. In 14 days, the eggs will hatch. They grow very fast, so size matters, since the first chicks can trample the later hatching's. In 14 days later, they will be ready to leave the nest, fully feathered. (note, I use a teaspoon to move the eggs since they are very fragile and break easily) Good luck!

You probably shouldn't. I only say this because the male rat will keep trying to mate with the female, and cause her to be stressed. Your best bet is to remove the male while the female is giving birth, and as the babies are still little, because the male could eat them, though that is uncommon. Also, if you leave your male rat with the female after she gives birth (which I hope you don't) , he could end up mating with the female with in hours, and you would have another liter! Well dur! If you put an unneutered male in with unspayed females, what do you think is going to happen. That is so bloody irresponsible. You do realise that over 27,000 rabbits in the UK alone end up in shelters because people dont want them? You shouldnt have pets if you are going to be that irresponsible.
