Walmart background check?
Always be forthcoming with information such as this. It makes you appear 'transparent' in such dealings. So, ask the person who interviewed you. "Oh, by the wya, you will discover a misdemeanor on my record. March 2014. Will this affect my being hired?" They may ask for specifics and again, be open and honest. This makes you look more honest than if they 'find' the same information later on their own. When asked the specifics, try to downplay the action adn affirm how you've grown since then . "Simply put, too much youth, not enouth smarts. Was taken in (note, how you didn't say "arrested") for disorderly conduct. Amazing how much a person can change in one year." Something like taht.
How long does it take walmarts background check to come back?
i recently applied at a walmart in eau claire wi i got a call back after about 5 days from the online application submission date. i went to the interview with no REAL hope because i am a felon (bail jumping) and have a misdemeanor batter (arrest was in 2007 conviction was 2009) after completing the interview with the department manager (went very well) she said to hold tight and she got a ast. manager to finish the 2nd interview (also went well) upon completion they asked if i had any questions and my fears got the best of me and i asked them their "policy" on felony/misdemeanor charges i told her what my prior charges where (also listed on the application) and she said they run a background check with a 3rd party (axciom i think?) and they send what they find to corporate and they do the final verdict (pass/fail) i was called 3 days later (after my reference checks) for a job offer/drug test/background check i took the drug test the same day (no worries as i havent done drugs in many years) and signed the papers for the background check. this was all done on a Thursday.... after doing the drug test i got a email from creditreport.com that walmart has already checked my credit (same day as drug test) walmart said it could take up to 4 weeks for all of the results I NEED ANYONE THAT WENT THROUGH THE BACKGROUND CHECK AND GOT THE JOB/DIDNT TO ANSWER THIS not random people with stories from 5 years ago... or how walmart sucks (i really need the job) thanks!
What shows on walmart background check?
My boyfriend is applying for a job at walmart and about a month ago he was locked in jail for 2nd degree burglary , but they had him on 24 hour hold then they let him go . The detective told him that if they charge him it will be with Possession of stolen property (His friend sold him a stolen xbox and he went to pawn it not knowing it was stolen. Will this affect his chances at walmart ? should we put that on the application ?
Why is the background check taking so long?
I've had many jobs and never been arrested or anything what's the hold up for it taking so long when there's nothing on your background check? The weekend maybe? When I was hired at Walmart it took 2 days but I'm waiting for my background check to come back for another place, and it was processed on Wednesday... how long should I wait until I call them back? I really want this job. I wasn't exactly hired yet (as far as I know? the managers couldn't hire anyone on the spot until the background was done which was started when I had my phone interview with the recruiter before my initial in person interview. My sister has worked for the same company in the past and had said it took two weeks for her background check to come back, but she as well has a clean background. Never have I had a job ever take so long with it before though. It's making me nervous.
