I have been accepted to Xavier University in cincinnati, Ohio. now, i went to see my counselor and she told me that it's not a good place for me since i'm new and black. i'm originally from africa and i don't really care..but she really got serious that i'm soo confused. i haven't visited it yet..b/c i have to wait for the "financial aid" thing to be done, then i can visit. i live in Connecticut..not far from RI, NY,MA and NJ. she told me that NH was even better than OH.... my parents don't want me to go to NH and my counselor want me to go to MD or NH...i'm stuck has anyone been in ohio?!? or lived in the capital city.... i want to go to Xavier..now they're making me scare.. she was like ..it's a all white people state...btw, (she's hispanic)..i respect her but..that's my life and.....i don't wanna miss the opportunity just b/c of race..for heaven sake!!!! what should i do?!?? i've been in the USA for 3 1/2 yrs..so i know most of the things
