I would probably buy one or two Pablo or Backyardigan mylar balloons wherever you can find them, and then buy a couple more plain colored balloons from The Dollar Tree (dollar store where everything's $1) if you have one where you live. You can also buy disposable table covers, napkins, plates and forks and cups for a $1 as well. Print off your own invitations with Backyardigans as someone else suggested or send an e-invitation (and save on stamps). You can also buy some Backyardigan cup-cake decorations to put on each cup-cake and they only cost $2.42 for 12 of them ( you could just count the number of kids coming and only order enough of these decorations for the kids to each have one on their cup-cake depending on how many people are coming-adults won't care if theirs doesn't have a character on it). http://www.birthdaydirect.com/the-backya...
