Please do.I know there's some expectation for the guy to text you first or to initiate the conversation by starting slightly platonic, then flirting, etc.It'd be great if girls would just text us first. Especially since a lot of guys suck at starting conversations.

So I've been talking to this guy and he's been texting be first. I heard sometimes guys will wait to see if you're interested so you'll text them. I'm never the one to make the first move I guess cause I'm shy when it comes to stuff like that. So do guys like when girls text first? I don't have a problem texting first I just don't wanna seem annoying. (Btw we've been texting for a week now)

Guys do love the chase, but if the guy is a little insecure in himself or if he isn't sure if you have feelings for him, it will make his day if you text him first :) cause then he'll feel like yes! she texted me! she likes me! lol whereas if the guy likes the chase and knows that you might be a little interested in him (and he's also interested in you), he would like to text you first more OFTEN. so he wouldn't mind you texting him first every now and then, but it's always best to let the guy do more chasing. you do want him to know you're interested though, so make sure to be friendly when he does text you! lots of smiley faces lol

He did tell me that he likes me. We've been on three dates. He gets insecure if I don't text him first sometimes. We didn't talk for a whole week once and he admitted it was because he thought I didn't like him because I never initiated it.
