I'm a new Uber driver who had the first pay sent but it is not in my bank yet. How long does it take?
Uber sends an e-mail every Monday, telling drivers how much they made the prior week. They then deposit that amount into the driver’s bank account on Wednesday. Did you complete the Direct Deposit information? If you did, then you might want to contact Uber if you have not yet been paid. I got my deposit the first week I drove, with no problems.
When do Lyft drivers get paid?
If you are a new lyft driver, you will have to earn at least $50 before you can get paid immediately. Once you reach that amount, you can request an “express pay”. An express pay will be in your bank account typically within 15 minutes. You will have to register a debit card to do this so that lyft will be able to deposit your money into your bank account. You can get paid at anytime with the express pay as long as it is over a $5 minimum. It does cost .50 every time you request immediate pay unless you use a debit card that lyft offers. I believe it is a go card. Then it doesn’t cost anything to put the money on the card.If you choose to accumulate all the money made within the week, lyft starts processing direct deposits on Tuesday. The money should be in your bank account by Wednesday but it does depend on your bank.
