How many breaks should an employee get in an 8 hour shift?

#1. Request an employee that how many break he needs and ask#2. Based on this - request him when he or she wants to take a break#3. Take care of employees first then the business will grow.Apart from all this - if you need then keep the employees only at the required hours and don’t just create 8 hours stuff when it is not required. Why 8 hours? We no need 8 hrs when it is not required. This 8 hours started at India when people were not productive ,lots of people need a job for the sake of job and it got started when we dont have machines and 9 to 5 was the only time that we can work. After 150 years still 8 hour rule is applicable which is a waste of humanity.

Walgreens overnight pay?

I work evenings at walgreens and get paid 8.25 and I filled in for someone overnight from 5-11 for 2 days with 30 minute unpaid break. On my paycheck stub it says shift 3 9.04 hours since 3rd shift starts at 12am that means I worked 9 hours but next to that it says current earnings 6.80 what does that mean? Did I only make $6.08 working those two days overnight?

How to apply as a Walgreens Cashier?

I work in a Walgreens right now. You need a degree to be a pharmacist and they're trying to make it sound fancy by requiring degrees to be management but the majority of managers don't have degrees. I wouldn't suggest applying for a management position because those are 40 hour a week jobs, and you said you're still in school. Take it from me, I work 30 hours a week and it's pretty rough. DO NOT apply for store team lead! It's basically a manager that gets paid 8 dollars less an hour.

If you want a good job during college, service clerk, photo specialist, and pharmacy technician are probably the best choices. You don't need previous experience for any of them, but pharmacy can be rough to learn. I've been there for a couple months now and still have a lot to learn.

And now to burst your bubble. Because of the economy, there is a company wide hiring freeze. When they open new stores, they hire a few new employees, but mainly just transfer in employees from other stores. But when a store does get permission to hire someone, they do check the online application database so it doesn't hurt to put in an application! And if you really want a job, apply to all the ones in the area.

Do you think I was wrongfully terminated (Walgreens)?

those article are written by people that call themselves all types of professional names, however in the US there is a phrase called at will employment, that means you can be let go for any reason or no reason just as you can quit for any reason or no reason, poor customer skills are any reason, while you may believe it to be unfair in the employers eyes you are not what they want working for them, very legal and you have no recourse
