How Much Money Would I Make A Week Working Full Time Minimum Wage

Is working a full-time minimum wage job worth it?

I'm going to be honest with you, 40 hours a week is nothing. You have 168 hours in a week, working 40 of them leaves you with 128 hours, plenty of time to rest. You should try to work as hard as you can, then you will become successful. While you are only working 40 hours per week, you should try to find a better job which pays more and has the potential for investing in yourself, or creating other income streams. You could take a class in which you learn a marketable skill. Then use the skill to get a better job. An example of this could be taking a lifeguarding course, while there may be an initial investment, it will help you get an easier and higher paying job. Most lifeguard work for more than $10 an hour. You may even have fun while doing so!Another option for using your free time is to create other income streams. This could be selling things online, starting a blog, or even using your social media to get money. An example of this would be starting a dropsgipping business which can work with very little effort from you. This will generate more income which you can save to invest later. So the answer is yes, working full time is worth it, and you should be trying to work more than full time of you want to become financially stable and successful.Good luck!

How long will it take me to buy a car working part time on minimum wage?

I am a Senior in High School and I have about two months left until graduation. I've been working at McDonald's for about a week and I make $7.25 an hour and work, on average, around five hours a day, five days a week. I love my job and wish I could work more and I could because we are under staffed but I'm having to rely on my parents for transportation. I hate having to be driven around by my parents because they make a big deal over it and get annoyed for having to take me and sometimes I'm late because they take too long getting out the door. I want to buy a used car preferably around $5k to $6k. How long would this take me? Assuming I continue to work the same hours even after graduation. Also please include the cost of getting my license and Insurance. I am 18 but never got my permit or license even after driver's ed because I don't have enough money to afford a down payment which is required when getting my license.

How long would it take to save up $500 on a minimum wage part time job?

Lets say your min wage is 7.50 / hour in your state
Lets say you work 15 hours a week
That's $112.50 a week. After taxes this may be $90 a week
5 1/2 weeks for you to save the money

Your mom is going to take you?
I don't think you can drive in most states on your own unless you are 16?
Perhaps Iowa is one of those states with "farm laws" that allow at 15
I would ask if you can drive into another state at 15
Since it may be illegal for you to drive in their state

How much money can international students earn while working part time in the USA?

I believe you are asking about earnings as an Undergraduate student.  {Because a graduate student should Never pay for their degree and they should always be Paid to earn that degree.  I know no one (personally) who ever paid for a graduate STEM related degree}As an undergraduate you already have proven to the US government that you can pay for All of your college related expenses through Cash that you have before getting that F-1 student visa.   Therefore, you only need a part-time job for extra "spending cash".   It is not the amount of the earnings, but the process. You may immediately work on-campus as an international student.   There are plenty of jobs.  Head over to the athletic center and you can get jobs at current minimum wage to double minimum wage  (even officiating college intramural sports, one can easily make $2,000 per semester officiating intramural sports, for example)In your second year and afterwards, you are allowed to work 20 hours per week while college is in session, and then full time during Summer break or Winter break.   And in addition, you are allowed 12 months (up to 29 months if it is STEM related) for OPT job.Don't worry, you will do fine, as you already have testified and demonstrated to the US government that you need No extra money to survive.  Any extra is Gravy.

How much is the national minimum wage for international students working part-time in Australia now?

The minimum wage is the same for EVERYONE. There is no ‘international student’ wage despite what employers might tell you.The national minimum wage is currently $18.93 per hour or $719.20 per 38 hour week (before tax). Casual employees covered by the national minimum wage also get at least a 25% casual loading. It is important to note that many industries are covered by awards that specify rates of pay. These over-ride the minimum wage if they are higher. They can never be lower.https://www.fairwork.gov.au/how-...
