How Much My Wrangler Worth

How much is my 2007 Jeep Wrangler Sahara worth?

That is entirely subjective. It depends on the condition of the vehicle and it's service history. KBB.com will give you an idea.

Is it worth buying a new Jeep Wrangler if I won’t take it off road?

Not really, theres not much that appeals for a wrangler.there’s really only two things going for the wrangler.it’s a life style vehicle, it’s owned by people who want to look like they are active and out doors-y, but dont actually know how to do that. so they go for the off-road out doors poster child, the jeep wrangler. as a result a wrangler now is more then double the cost of some basic cars with better equipment and much better safety standards. It’s engine bay is and has almost always been laid out in a manner that makes working on the car pretty easy for a experienced tech.that’s really it.is it a fantastic off-road car? kind of, it’s mediocre compared to a lot of other cars actually. and is more prone to hurting itself then actually getting you out of some mud.Is it a reliable car? tough and rugged? not really, Jeep as a brand has repeatedly received the bottom score in reliability testing. for years. for a reason. The car’s are serious wrecks. it’s the poster child for outdoors activities in the U.S. and Jeep as a brand, but i have personally flicked my index finger at a door on a brand new one and left a dent. Thats how flimsy these things are.i can go to a used car lot and find a used wrangler with over 150K miles on the clock, and it’ll be priced the hell high. 16 grand for a used car with that much on the odometer is insane. Ive seen jeeps like that all over the place, cough one that actually had the drive line where it connects the rear wheels to the transmission.. missing… well most of the drive-line between the two, someone literally snipped it off.you’ll see these getting souped up, big wheels to make adults feel like kids in a power wheels toy. snorkel’s so they can go just a little higher in water without the engine dying. suspension that was set up by a moron with a spanner. But the newest model has gone and removed the flat engine’s of old, and put in a 4 cylinder turbo, i have yet to test drive one of these models but form all accounts it’s better then before. so i dont know if it’s entirely worth a try yet, as they may have done more with Fiat this time and changed more on the car.but if you actually wanted a off-road car? Subaru, Mitsubishi and Volvo or Audi will actually offer some car’s that will behave better off-road, and some of them already are at lifted heights so as to not get bogged down. Suzuki also has the Jimny overseas still and it’s basically a classic Jeep with modern part’s it’s a phenomenal car to mess with too.

These are just rough estimates run through Kelly's Blue Book. I don't know what all the bells & whistles are on the Jeep your looking at.

Is buying a hard top for my Jeep Wrangler worth it?

There are definitely some downsides: If you are ever going to take it off it is a major hassle. You will need somewhere to keep it and two able-bodied adults to lift it. It won't reduce road noise as much as you are hoping. It doesn't really prevent theft. It is just about as easy for someone who knows what they are doing to break into a hard top. Aftermarket hard tops are generally not as good as factory. If you want it done right you should order it with the hard top and then get a soft top, or have the hard top installed by the dealer ($$$$) On the other hand: If you live in a climate where it is cold and wet in the winter, or where there is a long rainy season, the hard top will keep those elements out better. While it doesn't really prevent theft it does prevent vandalism. Soft tops are much easier to damage. It's easier to see out the back (Plus there is a rear wiper/defroster on some models.) It's a more comfortable ride for back seat passengers. If you never plan on taking your top down a hard top is probably a better choice all around. I hope that helps.

How much is a Smoky Mountain Jeep Wrangler worth with 185 miles?

Hi Kara!First of all; welcome to Quora!Second; you want to put the details of your question in the “question details”. There’s a “edit question and details” menu item over there by those three dots to the lower right of where your question appears.Third: I was gonna ask “What year of Smoky Mountain Jeep Wrangler?” But this jeep appears to be a 2017 model and with 185 miles it should be worth the same as an almost new “off the lot” Jeep. Just figure in a slight reduction due to that “instant depreciation” that comes along the moment the sales contract is signed and the car gets driven off the dealer lot.I’m seeing an MSRP of about 34,000$ USD. So, maybe 5% less?

How much is a 1986 Jeep Comanche worth?

Well it sounded good till you got to the very end :(

Running -Less than 100k and mint body 4x4 Comanche in my area sell for around 3000-4000. But not running you'll be lucky to get 1000.

1986 Look, its either the 2.5 with a very simple TBI injection or the v6 with a carb. Either way this is a simple engine...FIX IT...you'll sell it for so much more that way.

You have 3 things to make an engine run, spark, fuel, and compression. Figure out which one you don't have.

Selling an 83 CJ7 Jeep - How much is it worth?

I'm thinking about selling my 1983 Jeep CJ7. It has a BRAND NEW Chevy 350 (305hhp) small block w/about 150 miles on it. Completely rebuilt auto transmission, new carb, new battery, new distributor cap, new bestop seats and cover. Also has a linex paint liner. Frame and body have no rust.

What do yall think i could get for it? I'ts not mint, but another $1000 it and could be close to shoe room condition.

Why do Jeep Wranglers hold their value so well?

The Jeep that holds its value the best is the Jeep Wrangler. It has the highest residual of any lease vehicle in the United States (it retains around 70% of it’s value after 36 months in Sport form; the Sahara performs slightly lower, the Rubicon Hard Rock (and probably the Hard Rock Recon) seem to do better - depending on options). The primary reason that they hold their value is because of two things: lower production (not saturating the market), pricing the vehicle appropriately (what the market will bear).Other factors that affect the Wrangler include community and aftermarket support. The Jeep community - my tribe - is huge. It includes everything from daily commuters to mall crawlers to overlanders to rock crawlers. For every type of off-road activity there is a Wrangler setup. You might be a mud bogger (there’s a Wrangler for that) or a Moab, Utah explorer (there’s a Wrangler for that), or just a weekend warrior (there’s a Wrangler for that), and you’re still a part of the Jeep family. When Jeeps park in a parking lot, it’s not unusual for other Jeeps to park next to them. If a Wrangler is stopped along the side of the freeway with it’s hazard lights on, it’s more likely that another Jeeper will show up before a tow truck or highway patrol vehicle will. We’re a huge, inclusive, dysfunctional family that gathers around camp fires, Off-Road stores, and trailheads. You get a Wrangler, you’ll get the famous Jeep Wave on every road, byway, highway, and fire road in America. The aftermarket for the Wrangler is huge - and growing. Even as the JK version’s shadow grows long and the dawn of the JL is imminent the aftermarket for every Wrangler remains strong. Everything from a CJ2A on up is still supported.Celebrities have owned Jeeps. Barbie has owned a Jeep. Even Smokey Bear drives a Jeep. It is deeply ingrained in American culture, as it should be. The Jeep Wrangler is the promise of Adventure, the spirit of America, and the dream that any one of us can go anywhere and do anything.
