How Much Should I Expect To Pay If I Move Out.

What bills should I expect to pay when moving out?

Build a budget including all income and expenses. Typical monthly expenses include: Rent, Loans, Water, Cable, Internet, Phone, Electricity, Car Insurance, Renter’s insurance, Groceries, Gasoline, and spending money. The cost of bills depends on where you live. There are lots of free budget forms for download; also check out DaveRamsey.com and mint.com for help budgeting. Rent should never be more than a third of income; many landlords verify this before they’ll offer a lease. If you don't have enough money coming in to cover these expenses, consider getting a roommate.

Make a savings plan to prepare for moving out. There are lots of "start-up" costs involved in moving out the first time. Deposits for apartment and bills are the largest factor. Other things to save for are: Furniture (bed, couch/chairs, coffee/side tables, TV stand), electronics (TV, Computer, Microwave), Pots & pans, Dishware, Silverware, Bedding, towels, and the list goes on. Buy items that are easy to move before moving to decrease the amount you're spending at one time. In addition to saving for the items listed above, put some in savings for a “rainy day” in case of job loss, medical emergency or car accident. $1,000 is the minimum, 3-6 months bills is recommended.

A great way to prepare for living on your own is to live by this budget before you move out and put what you expect to pay in bills into a savings account. Not only does this get you in the habit of living off the money budgeted for non-essential items, but it’s a great way to build up savings.

If i make $37k before taxes how much should i expect to be able to pay in rent?

the rule I've heard is that you should never obligate more then a weeks pay to rent or mtg, it's kind of like a speed limit, even though you can go 60 miles an hour is that the best decision, the other issue is that you'll probably want your own place one day and that requires you to maintain the place, thus the other 8%. as a renter you don't fix the water heater, but you can save the 8% you are not spending now to create a bigger down payment when you buy, why pay for someone else's building.

What should I expect to pay if I move out of my parents home after college?

I vote for moving close to school.  You can get a part time job  instead of spending the time on the road commuting.   I suggest that you gets some roommates to make the rooming near campus affordable.  You can even park your car and save on gas and expenses.  I think college is as much about the experience as it is the education.  You won't have the same experience as a commuter. Not knowing where your school is, I can't say what your living expenses would be.

Would it be alright to move out of my house, not pay rent, and work hard on my dreams?

Do you mean choosing to be homeless? Such a decision wouldn’t be illegal or immoral, so the issue then is how wise is it? You might be content to live in a cardboard shelter, have few clothes to wear, and eat at soup kitchens. But hygiene is a problem on the streets, and that makes finding work difficult should you decide to get off the streets. Footwear is another serious problem, and all kinds of foot problems are common among homeless people. IDK what kind of dreams you have, but money makes everything easier. Still, if you want to live on the edge, it’s your choice.

CREDIT QUESTION: If I move out of an apartment without paying the outrageous cleaning fees ($450).?

Again if this information was in your lease then you are liable for it. It is best to pay it, or you'll regret it later.

How do I move out of my parents’ home?

There's many ways to prepare to leave home. And I applaud your desire to be independent and start to make your way through life. You will continue to grow and learn until your death. ….as long as you make up your mind to do so. So here's some ways you can make this happen.I personally was what is called an emancipated minor. I was 15 and had severly violent household and I had had enough. A friend of mine was having similar problems, so we both got jobs, continued to go to school and although it was very, very hard work and my grades suffed. It was soooo hard, I couldn't wait to turn seventeen so i could join the Marine Corp!!But before I could do that, I needed permission from Dad.Well, I went to get it and I was arrested when I got home. They could have done that any time at school, but they thought I had quit school and were surprised I still went.Well….now I'm in front of a judge in family court, and he thought I would eventually tire from all this eventually, so he emancipated me and I hung in there until May 7th. when I joined the Marines.I am of the opinion that every single American citizen should join one of our military services. They will make you show yourself that you are capable of things you couldn't imagine before joining. If you want to grow up, learn some lifelong skills and become a disciplined and strong person, you should consider joining a branch of our military. You can move out relatively quickly . Now you have to ask yourself how much do you want this?

How much money would I have to save to move out when I'm 18?

I'm 17 at the moment and once I turn 18 I plan to move into a 1 bedroom apartment. I'd like it to be in a decent neighborhood and look nice so what would be the average cost? It will be in Kentucky by the way. Also what's the best estimate of the cost of utilities, food, etc?

Please don't try to talk me out of this. I'm planning ahead, I know I can do it, and I want to be independent. I already have a job and I've saved about $1,500 so far.
