Would a pontiac grand prix have high insurance?

your insurance price all depends on what you are comparing it to, where you are buying your insurance from, and what kind of coverage you want. I just bought a 2004 Grand Prix and it is about $24 a month cheaper than my 2001 Aztek was.

Pontiac Sunfire Vs Pontiac Grand Am?

First off I would look at price and secondly I would consider fuel mileage. Im guessing that the Grand Am would cost a little bit more because they seem to be a very popular car. Depending on what size engine each cars have fuel costs are really going to be about the same overall. You might be able to get a little better mileage in the city with the Sunfire but on the highway these two are going to be exactly the same (depending on how fast you drive of course). Sunfires have 2 doors, most Grand Ams have 4 doors so i guess it would be up to you to decide on which car would suit your needs better. In my opinion, I would just go with the Grand Am, it would most likely be the safer choice as well which I'm sure your parents would like the most ;-)

What are the most important features of an auto insurance policy?

Auto insurance policy provides you financial protection against unwanted expenses that may occur related to your car. There are two types of car insurance as follows:Comprehensive car insurance provides you cover when your car is damaged. It not only covers your car but also covers you against accidents while driving. Comprehensive car insurance also takes care of third party damages that are caused by your vehicle. So it is a good option that you can consider while buying a car insurance.Third party liability car insurance provides you cover when you accidentally damage a third party vehicle or any harm caused to the third party rider/driver as well. Also a point to note is that it is mandatory to have a third party insurance by law. The main drawback of having a third party insurance alone is that it does not cover the damages that you or your vehicle comes across. You yourself will have to deal with situations if such a scenario occurs.Main features of an auto insurance policy is its coverage, cashless garages, etc.The auto insurance policy covers damage or loss to the car due to:AccidentFireLighteningSelf-IgnitionExplosionTheftRiot & Strikes and / or Malicious ActsTerrorismEarthquakeFloodCycloneInundationTransit by Rail, Road, Air and Elevator.

Pontiac Sunfire vs Grand Am?

No doubt about it; the Grand Am is a significantly better car than the Sunfire. Better handling, more standard options, nicer ride, better seats and interior...it's like night and day. Sunfire's were built to be cheap; Grand Am's were built to be competitive. Also, the Grand Am will protect you a LOT better in the event of an accident over a Sunfire.

Of course, the Grand Am should be better...when it was new, it cost quite a bit more than a Sunfire did. It's a good two steps above the Sunfire overall.

How good is a 2002 Pontiac Grand Prix GT Coupe for a teenager?

Very good starter car

Pros: Great reliability, make sure it gets it's regular maintanence, I have a 2001 Grand Prix GT with 228,000 miles on it and still have had no mechanical problems, had the power steering replaced just in case about 8,000 miles ago. Power is a pro to me, if your teenager needs to get out of a sticky situation soon, a V6 is the way to go, I've had to accelerate several times to avoid being smushed by oncoming semis and what not. The interior is comfortable and convenient. The stock stereo in that car is suprisingly good, steering wheel mounted controls are great if that car has it (I love mine), you don't have to take your eyes of the road to mess with the radio. Even though the car is long the turning radius is actually pretty good. Better than my '95 Grand Am which was A LOT smaller.

Cons: It definately has enough power to get a teenager in trouble, but any car will, it doesn't matter how much power it has, it'll still go over the speed limit if you make it. After a while the interior will get it's squeeks and rattles, but that happens. The volume nob on the stereo may act up and make the volume go up when you want it to go down, but it's managable, steering wheel mounted audio controls solve that problem. The car is somewhat long, but that gives you more interior space and trunk space.

When, not if, your teenager gets this car, you will be very pleased, look for leaks in the engine compartment at the dealership. It shouldn't have any since that engine is very solid. DO NOT get the 3.1L V6, that is an engine that should have been put out of it's misery a long time before it did. I have one in my first car and it was in the shop for 2 of the first 3 months that I owned it. It is a great car and you will be very pleased. After my dad gave me his '01 Grand Prix GT he bought a 2007 Grand Prix because he liked his so much.

For fuel economy you will be looking at 23 mpg in the city and probably 27+ mpg on the highway. For that size of engine and that size of car, that's not bad.

2000 Chevy Cavalier or 2001 Pontiac Grand Am?

Im looking to buy one of these two cars, both have about 100,000 miles on them. They both have the same warranty, the Grand Am is a four door V6 engine while the Cavalier is a two door Four Cylinder. The Grand Am is also 500 dollars cheaper than the Cavalier.

Which do you think is the better deal, which will last longer or do better on gas, thanks!

Oh it says that the chevy gets 22 mpg combined and the grand am gets like 23 combined but does a lot better on the highway, does that seem right?

The Chevy is 4000 and the Grand Am is 3500. But everywhere online says the Grand Am gets the same on or better on mpg.
