I got mine done when I was 18 and personally, it didn't hurt at all but I also have an extremely high pain tolerance. After you get it done, I would recommened A LOT of crushed ice. Swelling is normal, but ice helps.Slushies are your best friend.And stay away from chewy and crunchy things until you get used to it.
