How Old Does My Plant Have To Be To Clone

Does cloning have the potential to hurt anyone?

does cloning have the potential to hurt anyone??? What does this mean for me? for my family? for others around me? why might others not share my view? Is human cloning "playing with nature? please PLEASE help me with as manyof these questions as you can.. we just got these questions and i dont know how to answer them

What's the best way to clone a marijuana plant?

i think that sensamilla is a stage of development. i could be wrong though....

if you already have a female plant, then it is possible to cut off one of the small branches and stick it in one of those plugs that are often used for seed germination. water it well with a nutrient solution and a dose of root tone can't hurt. expose to as much as 18 hours of light daily. are you using a hydro/indoor set-up?

How much does one weed plant produce?

How long is a piece of string?Under Optimal conditions - 12/12 from seed ~ 2 ounces, doubling yield for every two weeks of vegetative growth maxing out at roughly 1.5 grams, per watt of light.Auto flowering plants - don't expect more than 3 ounce per plant, with 4 months from seed to harvest.Outdoors over a whole season, anything from one ounce to 5 kilos of dry bud depending on location, preparation and the grower.

How long does it take to fully grow a marijuana plant?

It will depend on a lot of factors, but to make it fairly short and simple...If you start with a seed you will first have to wait for that seed to sprout, then wait for the plant to grow in size (vegetative state) and last you would have to wait for the plant to flower and produce THC (and other active components of the plant)How long this takes overall will depend on mainly four thingswhat particular strain of cannabis you're usingthe light and nutrients provided for the planthow large you desire the plant to grow (a photoperiod controlled plant will remain in the vegetative state essentially forever if it’s provided with light for 18+ hours a day)how long time you let the plant flower before you harvest itgrowing conditions in general (outdoor, indoor, fertilizer, light, growing medium etc.)This whole process could be anywhere from around 3 to 6 months, or even shorter using auto-flowering (as opposed to photoperiod where light controls when the plant will begin to flower.)Outdoor growing will usually take the most time as sunlight will be limited in comparison to the light you can provide indoors. When growing indoors you supply the plants with artificial light which allows for maybe 20 or even 24 hours of light per day during the vegetative state, making the plant reach its desired size in less time. This will speed up the process if they're properly supplied with nutrition. The fastest grow time would be achieved by using "high tech" growing methods such as hydroponics or aeroponics, where the plants don't grow in soil but instead have water containing nutrition directly supplied to the roots, and the lack of soil increases oxygen at the root level - plants need oxygen for their roots, that’s why overwatering is an easy way to kill a plant! If you skip the step of using seeds and instead make clones of an already existing mother plant, you can reduce the overall time it takes to grow the plant, and possibly harvest every 2 - 2½ months or so. That is the fastest its likely to get.You can't take clones from auto-flowering plants, only photoperiod ones. After harvest, drying it will take a few weeks if done properly (can be speed up at the expense of quality) and afterwards you can spend months curing it (like wine, it can improve).

My marijuana clones wont grow. What am I doing wrong?

Sounds like anaerobic issue. Botrytis. Mold from lack of aeration to the roots. Overwatering. Next time you need to hydrate the medium try getting a bottle of spring water. Make sure it's spring, bottled at the source. Not distilled. Pour a little out, shake the bottle up to add air to the water.Less is more. Use a lot less stuff at that age. I use very little clonex solution at that age. Nothing else. Air is just as important as everything else. So every time you water, get some bubbles going. Lots!!I also like to let the medium dry out some before the next watering. Not too much if they are not a drought resistant plant. Just enough to kick in her servival skills and grow more roots searching for water. Bigger roots make bigger fruits. Nice way to avoid overwatering.

How old school is a wireless bug to plant on someone if you can't clone or turn a phone mic on?

“How old school is a wireless bug to plant on someone if you can't clone or turn a phone mic on?”I wirelessly bug my family and friends all the time to catch them plotting against me.Usually they try to trick me by not mentioning me, but they don’t realize that this is a MAJOR CLUE that they are all out to get me.Here is an actual transcript of a conversation between my parents:Mother: I invited Ann to dinner for Wednesday evening.Father:  Oh yes? (turns the page of the newspaper)Mother: I think I’ll make roast chicken.Father:  Oh yes. (rustles the newspaper)Mother: You aren’t listening to me!Father: (turns the page)(Prolonged silence)Mother: (desperately) Is there any news this evening?Father:   None at all. (rustles newspaper)See!?!? Now you know why I have to keep bugging everyone. And one more thing — (suspiciously) Why are you asking me this question?

Can houseplants die from old-age?

I have had this philodendron houseplant since the 1970's. I've taken cuttings from it 3 times. I have three viable plants made from the 1 original plant. I'm doing this because I would hate to lose it after having had it since childhood. If a plant dies I will have backup clones.
My question is, since I can endlessly take cuttings off plants to make babies.. could this go on FOREVER? or do plants have a limited lifespace even if you clone them?
I know this is a weird question but if cuttings can keep a plant going.. then why arnt there 2000 year old philodendrons?
The cloned sheep "dolly" suffered from premature aging because the cloned cells somehow knew to catch up.. (?)
I don't really know how to explain my question other than will the copies of my plant keep going forever or will they start dying from old age? heh

How long does it take to grow and smoke weed?

realistically, you're talking a plant in seedling stage for 2weeks.Then veg for 4weeks.Then flower for 8–12 weeksthen dry for 2 weeks. Then cure for however long you decide. I go with 3 month minimum, that way it's like a fine wine. So, roughly you're talking 14 weeks, or 3 & a half months minimum. But if you rush it, it'll reflect on the finished product. Don't expect a massive amount, an oz per plant is fine for a noob. There will be those that will suggest clones, but you'll need to grow a mother plant first which would add more time. if you can buy clones, great - if not, wait to you've ran a cycle or two before taking clones. In terms of pushing clones right into flower, in an attempt to skip the veg & save time you're talking more risk with the law. More plants = more prison time. Its called a sea of green, it's a good method, but takes experience & the system will be pretty expensive.Try growing an autoflower first, they're the easiest. Then an indica dom strain, that way the height will be easier managed & have a shorter flower time.Remember, use the KISS method - keep it simple, stupid. Don't invest too much into it until you're sure its right for you & read up on the laws in your area.Strains id recommend for a first timer. Either go autoflower or feminised seeds, regular will produce male plants & they will be harder for a noob to spotAK47AK48Northern LightsEasy KushLemon kushskunkCheck out a website called - rollitup & another called groweedeasy. On RIU you'll find reviews & blogs by growers, advice from growers & what growers around the world are producing.Remember, all you need is a light, some coco or soil, & a few beans. Keep it simple until you're sure its for you.Hope this helps & good luck.

How to clone a large pine tree?

Okay heres the deal!
My Mom and Dad want to cut down a tree in our yard.
It is at least a 50 foot tree that I would have to say is about 80 years old.
The tree is leaning, getting ready to fall over onto our garage, its best the tree goes.
The tree has so much history! I want to re-plant another tree in its memory from a clone.
Any advice on how to do a clone?
My Grandpa and Grandma had their first date on the swing under that tree. So I kind of feel like that tree has a part in my existence. I just want to protect something sentimental to me.
