I'm jealous of my best friend because she's SO pretty?
So what if she's pretty now? She may have an ugly personality. Anyways, just because you're pretty now, doesn't mean you'll be pretty forever. Just look at Carrie Underwood when she auditioned for American Idol, and look at her now. She lost 30 pounds! Just be yourself, and if you need to, listen to Christina Aguilera's "Beautiful". If you don't like something about yourself, make an effort to change it, but nothing too drastic. Just accept yourself for who you are, and if a guy only looks at your friend's chest, then there's something wrong with him. You want a guy that accepts you for who you are - flaws and all.
Are children born of two ethnically diverse parents typically better looking than children of a single ethnic background? If so, why?
Well in my international school in Asia, some kids were Chinese ethnically, and some were Caucasian or others. And of course there were many mix-bloods, as we called them. Those ‘mix-bloods’ typically have one Chinese parent (usually the mum, for reasons unknown to me) and another (usually) Caucasian parent.For example, there was one family, with a European dad and a Chinese mum. The parents were rather average looking, actually, nothing special, but the children were nothing short of uniquely attractive.The son looked a bit like this:and the sister looked like this:and together they looked like this:The horribly beautiful mix of Asian and Caucasian features hits viewers’ eyes like a bomb, and you just go like, man, that’s some model shit.And lo and behold, they were model shit. The sister models for many brands like H&M and Calvin Klein kids, as well as the brother, who does various sports brands like Nike, Adidas, Puma, etc.And they’re not dumb, either. The son went on to go to Eton College, and the daughter some other fancy school.Now that’s a good example of attractive hybrids.Then there was another case, a girl with an Italian dad and a Chinese mum. The mum was quite pretty, but the daughter turned out kind of…odd. Like she wasn’t ugly, but the balance of the facial features were a bit… off. Off-kilter. Eyes too big, mouth too wide, nose too sharp… I don’t know, maybe now she’s an attractive woman, but she wasn’t really a very pretty child.So there you go, in my experience, kids with ethnically diverse parents end up pretty, but of course it depends on luck and which ethnics, as well as genes. Do South Korean girls believe they are better looking than Japanese and Chinese girls?
Yes, and I do want to make a distinction to clear up a misconception about Koreans. While the majority of Korean females do get plastic surgery, that doesn’t necessarily mean that they were ugly and magically became pretty. I’ve known a lot of very pretty girls who got plastic surgery just to enhance their looks . Think of it as people who do steroids, most guys who do steroids were already pretty huge and bigger then the average guy, the majority are not skinny guys who take steroids to “cheat” their way to a better body. So in a similar fashion many Koreans also do plastic surgery because making the eyes a little bigger or nose thinner can make a girl who is a solid 7 into a 8 or 9. Most ugly girls I’ve known that got surgery did admittedly get a bit better looking but I would still say they were somewhat unattractive for my tastes. Like they would go from a 5 to a 6 which just puts them in the realm of “dateable” for a lot more guys. So while that was a bit of a tangent, yes most Koreans believe themselves to be better looking then Chinese and Japanese. Its not a totally irrational belief, Koreans tend to dress and do makeup better then any other Asians. Also a lot of ugly guys even clean up their appearance and can manage to get much better looking girls. I don’t see that often among Chinese and Japanese people, when they are ugly they seem to just resign themselves to being ugly and continue to not dress or take care of their appearance like getting regular haircuts or keeping up with fashion trends. So while genetically I’m sure Koreans are no better looking then other East Asians, they do make an effort to make themselves presentable to other people which actually makes a huge difference. It might be very superficial and I’m not advocating it as a superior culture but it probably has affected the way people see Koreans around the world as many people seem to view Koreans as the pinnacle of beautiful Asians.

What is the difference between cute, pretty, and hot?
Cute and pretty are more or less interchangeable. Both suggest a general, non-specific attractiveness. If a girl is really good-looking, you'd say beautiful or gorgeous; cute or pretty just means she's a 6+ on the 10 scale but you can say it in front of your mom without her starting to plan the wedding. Cute is a little younger, less serious. It's very weird to call anyone with an advanced degree 'cute' - even if she looks like she's sixteen it's still mildly insulting. Also, both cute and pretty can be used as pity compliments with the addition of '...' "Well, she's...pretty," means she isn't dog-ugly, but she sure as hell better have some other redeeming qualities for you to want to be with her. You don't hear, "Well, she's...hot." Maybe, "Well, she's hot, but she doesn't have two brain cells to rub together," but never, "Well, she's...hot." Hot is about sexual attraction. Someone can have a face like Popeye and still be hot if she makes you want to throw her on a waterbed.
Why do i look ugly in some mirrors?
sometimes when i look into the mirror of the cupboard, my face looks clean and cute and my lips are more red, this mirror is exposed to an average lightening.but when i look into the mirror with more lightening, my face is crappy;my face is more darker, some pimples, and my lips are rose color(it looks bad).also the facial hairs are pretty much clearly visible.i'm confused,which mirror should i trust on?
