Where is the best place to go in Thailand for Songkran?
I will be in Thailand the 1st to the 19th of April, so I will be there during Songkran. I was planning on going to Chiang Mai for the festival, but was wondering if there was another city, that might be a better place to celebrate it. Perhaps somewhere in Isaan? I have been to Chiang Mai before during Loy Kratong, so it wouldn't be my first time visiting the city, although I loved it last time I was there about 3 years ago, I am alway interested in new discoveries. So I was wondering if there may be another place to go, that you don't mind not keeping it a secret;) Thanks.
Is a night taxi FROM Pattaya TO Bangkok airport (Thailand) available?
Taxi stands are all over Pattaya and if you are staying at your hotel (but I would not recommend them because it is always at a higher markup at the hotel). Do not pre-book more than a day in advance and never pay before the service. Cost is 800-900 baht plus tolls or pay about 1200 baht tolls inclusive;anything over this price and you are being taken advantage. Taxis are easy to get in Pattaya so don't stress.
Thailand Weather in April?
Hi, I'm planning to go to Thailand next April but i always read that April is one one hottest and more humid months in Thailand. does this weather cover all cities and islands of Thailand? and how humid and hot is it over there during April? other question, is there any alternative place to go during April? i don't want to go to either hot or cold places. Thanks
