How Should I Ask An Ingles Manager To Hire Me

What questions will the manager ask you in an interview at McDonalds?

Smile as much as you can, listen patiently and don't interupt. If you are nervous, just say " Im feeling a bit nervous, this is really important to me' They always understand, it makes you feel better and the rest of the interview will go better.

So, are you looking for part time or full time?
~ answer~

What do you think makes someone a good leader?
~ Someone who can communicate what they need effectively without offending anyone. ~

Have you had any experience in fast food?
~ At home! *haha* But I am a really fast learner and enjoy working with food~ or ~ Yes, I've worked at _______ and found it really enjoyable working with the food." ~

What do you think is your greatest attribute?
~ I like to make sure I get the job done right, to the best of my abilities. ~

What is your greatest fault?
~ Well, I can get nervous sometimes when I'm new to a situation and don't know what to do. But I'm sure you guys train employees really well."~

What would you do if you had to deal with an angry customer?
~ I'd listen patiently to what the were saying, never interupting. I would assure them that mistakes don't happen often and we are sorry and will try and make things right. If they still are angry for the sake of being angry, I will ask them if they want to talk to someone in charge and go get a manager. I'll be careful never to say it was the customers problem or fault.~

Can you recall a situation where someone was mad about something? What did you do?
~ I was patient and tried to hear them out without judgement. Then I tried to solve thier problem~

If you seen an employee stealing or being disrespectful, what would you do?
~ Well, I would not wish to create any dramatic scene. I would talk to someone in charge and either tell them straight out if it was something like money stealing or just mention they should keep an eye on so-and-so."

What do you plan to do as a career?
~ Well, I really like working with food, so there is that option. I was also consitering _____ but I really havent decided yet. For now I just wish to work and save money. ~

When can you start?
~ I have time on my hands so anytime that training can be arranged is good. ~

What is the polite way of asking "Are you hiring ?"

hummmm….The better/correct way to go about applying =“Hello, your company seems a cool one, and so I am interested to learn more. Would you happen to have any open positions at the moment ? “This means:You compliment the person that you’re talking toYou say that you’re eager to make that connectionIs the company hiring. So the above way is the optimal way to getting a good response from the person you’re talking to.In case of a hesitant answer; remember to ask for the actual right contact person such as the boss, or maybe you’ll want to re-apply by email because there might not be any open positions at this point in time. When they have you “on file” > and when you KEEP IN TOUCH, then you’ll have the best starting position once a job becomes open/free.

Is it against the law to hire someone that can't speak English?

OK this might sound little retarded but was wondering, I was at walmart in Pheonix Arizona where I live and I asked this Hispanic lady to help me she goes "No Habla Ingles" I was actually shocked because I thought walmart would at least hire someone that can communicate with their customers, it was kinda annoying because she couldn't even say I can't speak English in English. I mean I really think the least people could do is learn the language of the country they plan to live and work. Is this common and is Walmart obligated to hire someone that can't speak the language and why don't they hire English speakers?

How can I hire an English speaking staff in Shenzhen, China?

If you're looking to hire English-speaking foreigners, you could try the classifieds in Shenzhen Expats, Shanghai News, Food, Arts & Events, or Page on thebeijinger.com but bear in mind that a lot of people will be students / non-professional teachers so depending on your industry it may be difficult to find trained/expert staff.Hiring Chinese people is easier because there's so many of them :) The most popular job search websites are 招聘_求职_找工作_上智联招聘人才网 and  招聘_人才网_找工作求职_上前程无忧 .  A word of warning though -DO NOT VISIT these websites if you have epilepsy or are of a fragile disposition - it's Chinese web design at it's best. You'll need to be able to read Chinese to use the site but you can post job descriptions in English and request English-speaking applicants. If you're in Shenzhen already then there are surely lots of networking and recruitment events that you could attend, although I don't know of any personally. You could also try hiring a Chinese speaking virtual assistant, either via the expat websites above or by a service like Award-winning Virtual Assistant Service Provider - BPOVIA Virtual Assistant and Knowledge Process Outsourcing Service.
