How Tall Is A Honda Crf150r And How Fast Could It Go

How Fast Does A Honda CRF150F Go?

A 2006 one can go to 65-70 Mph
A 2005 one can go to about 80 Mph

That's all I found out.

How fast is the Honda CR85 and CR125?

A 125 is going to be pretty tall for you. Personally I would get a CRF150R instead of an 85, but either way an expert (big wheel) model of either would be the best fit. You may also want to consider the KTM 105SX.

How fast dose a 1983 Honda CR60 go?

If you can find one that runs good it will go about 50 to 55mph.

These bikes were good 27 years ago, but if you get one now don't expect it to last long. It is almost impossible to find any replacement parts for it.

They made approximately 9 hp.

Should i Get Honda CRF150r or KX100?

although I am a huge 4 stroke fan, I would recommend going with the KX100 due to a couple of reasons. both of these bikes are quality and high performance, competing in the same class in various types of dirt races and truly comes down to the skill level of the rider.

At your age, you are still probably growing and will quickly outgrow this size of bike, the CRF150R is considerably more expensive both to purchase and maintain. if you were to go the used bike route, the KX would be drastically less to purchase and is very easy to do top end rebuilds at much lower costs.

the KX being a 2 stroke will tend to be much peakier with the power band with less torque but adding a 6-9 ounce flywheel weight will tone down the peakiness and bump up the torque if needed.

then when you outgrow this size bike in a year or so, re-sell and move up to a 125 2stroke or 250 4stroke.

the CRF150R is a great little bike when treated right and maintained properly but the shear cost doesn't make it very appealing with the ever so slight advantage it has in power & torque ... unless you are riding in the expert or pro level with unlimited funds to keep up to par.

the KX100 will last a very long time when properly taken care of at a much reduced cost ... allowing the extra money to be spent later on a full size bike once you grow a little bit.

Honda CRF150R Expert vs. CR-125?

Crf150r Expert is the same size as a big wheel 85. I reccomend you get a 125 because it is a great bike to learn on, it is the same size as a 250 or 450 but just not as fast, You should rather get a yz125 that is no older than 2005 because they are more up to date than two stroke hondas. Honda stopped making two strokes in 07'
But overall you would save money buying a yz125, they are dependable and cheap to fix rather than a four stroke. You would easily grow out of a 150. Plus if you raced in the 85 class all the kids are sandbaggers but the 125 class is fun and easy. I ride a 2010 yz125 and race in the 125 novice class and the schoolboy. Just go on craigslist and look up yz125 but don't get one with a 144 kit, they ruin the bike and 125's are perfect just how they are, maybe just a exhaust system. but anyways..
yz125 all the way!!

Honda CRF 150R Top Speed?

Sounds about right. A friend of mine had one. He topped it out just over seventy, but he's 19 and I'm sure quite a bit bigger than you. You shouldn't have a problem hitting 75, maybe a bit more.

Remember, just because the CRF can potentially do 70-75 mph doesn't mean it'll do so easily or quickly once you reach higher speeds. I'm assuming you're aware of this due to your experience with your 80. You probably know doing seventy on a bike like that feels quite a bit different than on something made for the road.

Be safe, have fun.

KTM 85 vs Honda CRF150r?

Both are good bikes but if you intend to ride trails then I would steer away from the 2 stroke. My kids used to do a lot of hare scrambles and had 2 stroke 85cc bikes and at some event the hills were steep and huge. They could get up the hills on the 2 strokes but had to hit it just right as the power is very uneven. There would be others who had to take 3 goes at getting up and if someone was on a 4 stroke even if they were not very good on it would just go straight up as the even power made it a lot simpler task.
My son raced the crf150r at national level over a couple of years and the bike has all the power anyone could want.

How tall do you need to be to ride a crf150r?

Your fine i am bout ur size and i can easily fit on one, go to your local motocross store and sit on one.

What would you recomend a Kawasaki KLX140 or a Honda CRF150F or a CRF230F?

As long as you realize that none of these bikes will be fast compared to a motocross bike, then the 230 is probably the best bet of the 3. Of course you didn't give your height so I can only guess. The 230 isn't a lot taller than the 140 or 150 but will obviously give you more power. The 140 is a good bit lighter than the 2 Honda's are so keep that in mind also. All 3 will have similar suspension but the 230 will have the stronger engine. None of these bikes are suitable for motocross but if you just plan to trail ride any of these would do a great job.
