you might have a problem with confidence.. when you can hide behind something ( your hat) .. you feel safer and possibly protected. sounds stupid but true.

Just about every tv and movie star wears them, so do many band members. They pick frames that suit their face and are stylish. Look, at least you won't be walking into the wall so put them on and go on with your life. Your eyes need to be corrected and your eye sight won't get any better if you don't wear them.

How to feel confident wearing a skirt to school?
Tomorrow I'm planning on wearing a skirt to school, with a sweater/scarf/knee socks/boots so it will be casual. I don't usually do that much, I've worn a dress or skirt to school about 2-3 times. It's also the first day of school after Christmas break, and I'm afraid people will wonder "why is she dressed up, that's out of character for her." I don't want that to stop me though, and a lot of people at school wear skirts/dresses daily. It's also cold here, I live in new York so it'll be about 20 degrees. Do you have any advice on how to feel not weird and confident in a skirt?

I understand that not everyone is comfortable with contact lenses, and it's hard to be confident when you are uncomfortable. If you don't need vision correction, and only wear glasses for style, you've learned something. Tests have shown that people equate eyeglasses with intelligence. You like the way people react to you wearing glasses. You may also appear more friendly and/or less threatening when wearing glasses. After all, Clark Kent was never bad-*** until he removed his glasses!
