How To Can I Stop My Kitten From Crying At Night

I have a 4-5 week old kitten who won't stop crying!?

We found her Saturday night in an alley. I friend had found her a couple hours previous.

She was clean and healthy looking. She cleans herself but I bathe her when she gets dirty. She can run pretty fast and play. She has a good set of teeth. Her ears are up, so I think she is 4-5 weeks. The first few days she played and ate normally, pooped and peed. She uses the litter box.

But the past few days she cries and acts like she's hungry and doesn't like her kitten formula as much. She's eating but you can tell she doesn't like it. She has been drinking it from a bowl, didn't like the bottle. I've tried wetting kitten food with the milk or water and she likes licking that but won't eat the kibbles. She just acts hungry and tries to find something to suck on.

She's going to the vet on Saturday. I was just wondering if it's normal that they cry a lot or should I change her food.

Why does my new kitten cry all night.?

Poor little tyke is overwhelmed in her new situation - feeling lonely and lost.

Get a bottle of Rescue Remedy from a health food store for under $20. You just shake the bottle well and put three or four drops on the fur between her ears as often as you can. If you can't reach her put the drops on a small cloth and put it under the bed near her.

It will help her overcome her fears and give her the emotional balance she needs to adjust to her new home.

You can go to http://www.spiritessence.com and read about using flower essences with cats (and other animals). The FE's cannot harm her in any way and will be very supportive of her making a good adjustment to your home.

Should I ignore my crying kitten at night?

I just took in a 6 week old kitten yesterday and last night she was crying and woke me up at 7am. I figured she was lonely so I sat on the floor with her for a while until she went back to sleep which worked. Now she woke me up crying even louder than before for the same reason.

I don't want to teach her loud noises=attention so should I ignore her?

Kitten is scared of cage, wouldn't stop crying.?

I adopted a kitten two days ago and she's amazing but she seems traumatized by cages and it's driving me mental! During the day I basically let her do whatever she wants in the house but at night, the only option is to put her in her cage (since my dad's allergic) . Thing is, she wouldn't stop meowing/crying and its just killing me inside! I can't take her up in my room since my room is really cold at night so I left her in the cage for two nights now (to get her used to it) but she still wouldn't stop meowing. She's now meowing in a very raspy voice and I'm seriously concerned. Is it possible that her voice broke? Tips and suggestions are loved, thank you.

Also, I would really love it if you could suggest how to make her feel more comfortable in her cage. Please also note that her cage is quite comfortable (with her litterbox, water, food and her own bed)

My kitten just died please help. I can't stop crying...?

So we rescued her a month ago, that time she was about 45 days old. We found her in a ditch and couldn't find her mother or any other cats nearby. A few days later we decided to give her to the shelter. Long story short, the shelter said they didn't have any space, their only choice is to put her down, so we took her in. We got her vaccinations and everything seemed ok. So she lived with us and she seemed very happy and stuff. So during the night we keep her in a room with a littler box, water and a very comfy bed. So by today she was 2 months old. As soon as I woke up, I went to her room to give her some food. She would usually run to the food and be all excited, when I put the bowl down, she just seemed uninterested and slowly walked away. I thought she was just really tired, so I put her on my bed and I myself took a little nap, everything was going ok. Then about 10 minutes later, I hear a meow from her that was so different and felt like it was full of agony. She couldn't walk anymore and whenever I pick her up she just let's go of her body. Her eyes was open the whole time and she was staring. Her breathing was quick and shallow, and she would usually gasp for air. I suddenly knew it was coming. I gave her water but she wouldn't eat. I got so scared I just went on to the vet. My mom and dad are just telling me that it is ok, she was just a cat, doesn't really matter. Just so you know, I was the only one who loves animals and loved her dearly. My parents kept on trying to comfort me but I was crying like hell. Along the way to the vet I was trying to comfort her, giving her water. Then as soon as we parked, she stopped breathing. She didn't make a move at all. I started crying and screaming in the car and the vet said that it is best if we give her to them and they will bury her. I am now at home tearing up as I write this. This happened just an hour ago. Please help, will I ever get over this?

How can i get my cat to stop crying/meowing at night?

One of my cats who's 1yr and a half cries at our door at night.(We don't let them in because we have four cats and it would be a little much lol) Its not like he only does it when hes alone with the others, ill be sitting here and hes down the hall (in full view) and hes meowing *Loud*. He'll even sit at my bed room door and cry while im out in the living room watching T.V. Trust me he gets more then enough attention its not that,he eats fine, acting normal, personality is his usual. We've tried the spray bottle with water but he now just ends up booking down the hall as soon as he hears us get out of bed, we've also tried the put him in the crate for a bit after he starts..that also hasn't worked. Its not the meowing that's the problem its the time of night and early morning he decides to do it i love it when their vocal but its tough i have to get up for work in the am... Someone please help us..significant other is getting really fed up w. him and i refuse to even think about letting him go anywhere but here :o(
We need some intense help and not just let him in your room (It doesn't help) please and thanks
