There are many software for system to remove background of Video but if you have green screen in your background it’s very easy to remove it with any video editing software. But if you want to remove background from any normal video then it’s only possible through rotoscoping and it’s only done with the use of Adobe After Effects. I'm gonna take a stab at one of your questions. You add images by importing jpg or tiff into your video software editing program. iMovie is basic; once you've opened your video project, click on 'media' then scroll through to find where you've stored your photos. Select a photo, drag it to the beginning of your video project, look for a green plus or green line to appear to indicate you've placed the image into the video, then let go of your mouse/trackpad. Voila! Image inserted into beginning of video. You can select a title and do the same thing, then add some transitions so the images don't abruptly appear/disappear. Sorry I dunno about changing the background of the video. This is the most basic way to answer your question. Hopefully some skilled videographers will chime in to set us both straight!

If you have an HP computer then on the left hand-side of the Camera Media center there is a way to change your background. If not, in my experience being the Editor of my Yearbook and having a friend in the Video News you should use a green screen. However it doesn't have to be green. Just a solid color in your background other than white( preferably something bright like yellow, most people use green). A enormous sheet of paper ( Christmas wrapping paper could be handy or maybe even a large solid colored blanket) to cover your background. ( You would have to stand in front of the paper, like the weather reporters on the news) However you would have to use a program like the Adobe Photoshop & Premiere Elements 9 which has photo and video editing. I doesn't matter which version you have the newest one (9) or an older version. Or just any video editing program. You can find some on Amazon.com Hope this helps!
