Email Question: Delayed send?

How to send a delayed email?
I will be out of town for the next couple of weeks, but I would like to be able to send an email that's delivered to it's recipient sometime next week. Is this possible? Any other ideas are also welcome.
Yahoo mail delay?
is anyone else having a problem sending and receiving messages between yahoo addresses? it is taking 6 hours to a day to receive messages and the ones I send are also taking hours to a day to be delivered. i looked at the fullheaders and i noticed the delay is in qmail. what is that? i have inquired to yahoo but after 2 days of waiting for a reply i was hoping someone on here would know. How to delay sending emails, but with a true time stamp of the actual send time. Outlook shows time of setup.
Try this: At 4AM set your computer clock to a time just before 9AM that will allow you to create and send the email before it reaches 9AM. Open your email program, compose and send using the delay feature. Set your computer clock back to the current time. The delay will send the email at 9AM and it should look like you composed it at a little before 9AM. Make sure you send the email before the temporary clock reaches 9AM or the Outlook delay will send it prematurely because it thinks it is 9AM instead of 4AM. I hope this helps you find a solution.
Delay in receiving yahoo mail?
The only answer I can give you "sst" is to try the BASIC version which is quite fast. Once you've gotten in it, though, you'd better place it in your «favorites». This way you can select either the full featured version or the Basic if the former won't send you the mails right away. If you do not know the procedure to enter BASIC, do this then : >go to gear top right→ select settings→select Viewing email→go down to the right and place the dot in the small box next to the word BASIC→go all the way down to the left and click SAVE. That's all. Now......I suggest you also place the regular version in the «favorites». Why? Because this way you can call for both versions and have them at the very top and switch from one to the other as you wish. This is what I do every time I go into Yahoo mail. Good luck!
