IPhone 4s Boot loop fix?
I have my Iphone jailbroken and apparently downloaded an app that it didnt agree with. My phone is stuck in a boot loop and have tried everything to get it to work and its doing anything. I dont care if i lose my jailbreak or anything i just want to be able to use my phone. I've tried downloading tinyumbrella, entering and exiting recovery mode multiple times, ive tried putting it in dfu mode and using the "fix recovery" option and still no luck. Ive tried just restoring it on the computer but while in recovery mode, it tells me i have to download the the software update and before it can download it puts it back into the boot loop. I have it backed up but cant find the backup files saved in my comp running windows 7 and when I try and backup restore (without being in recovery mode) there an error and it doesnt work which im assuming is the boot loop. Any advice is appreciated thanks!

They probably will because it's a known issue by Apple. When my husbands did that we took it to Apple and they just gave him a new one. They said it's a known flaw that costs more to fix then it's worth so they gave him a new one on the spot and transferred everything over to the new one foe him, no charge. Apple devices do have glitches they just don't make it public knowledge, you just experienced one of them. If Best Buy won't fix it take it to Apple. No one will give you a credit to a newer model the 4s is still relatively new so it's fixable.

Honestly, it seems like you've done all that you can. You took it out as quick as you could, placed it in the rice to absorb the moisture and then attempted to turn it on way after the incident (most people make the mistake of leaving it on or turning it on while it's n the rice.) At this point it looks like the phone is damaged beyond repair, probably because the actual tea in the drink seeped into the phone and then stuck itself to the circuits and started to corrode them. The last thing you want to do is play with the internal components, especially if you have insurance or something that you can use to replace your phone inexpensively... Tea and other 'acid' type drinks like Lemonade corrode metal fast and irreversibly. However, there might be a brighter side to all this, with the new release of the iPhone 5C and iPhone 5S, the iPhone 4S should have dropped into the position of the iPhone 4, which before their release, was Free with an upgrade :) If that's not an option and you don't have insurance, the last thing you could always do is look to third parties for a replacement like eBay or even call Apple at 1-800-MyiPhone and see if they have any other options for you. I used to work for AT&T when Apple only dealt with them and this was actually a very common problem people, who called in, had... I would try everything with them to get the phone to work but 9x out of 10, it was damaged beyond repair... and I know they're expensive and that's why everyone tries to 'fix' it, but a lot of these phones, you'll end up spending more to fix it then what you would buying another new one.

The light on my iPhone 4S won't turn off!?
Have you completely shut down the phone and when it boots back up it still has the light on? That is weird, try a soft reset by holding the power button and the home button until the phone is off. If that still doesn't help go to the camera and switch it over to video mode and then go and make sure the flash option is on off. Good luck
