How do I fix this glitch in Skyrim?
Are you playing on PC, using any mods? Sometimes using PC mods or console commands will cause strange game glitches. On PS3, I've never had a problem with the carriages, they always offer every location, but some locations will be 20 gold and some will be 50. The standard way to try and fix any glitch is to reload an earlier save. Or quit the game entirely, give it a rest, and start it up again later, loading an earlier save. Some things get reset when you quit and restart the game (not start all over from level one, just restart the system). If that doesn't work, you could try buying a horse, or just going on foot. Update: Do you have 50 gold in your inventory? Sometimes options aren't available unless you have the gold for it. I know, dumb question, because 50 gold should be easy to get, but you might want to double check you didn't drop or leave your gold somewhere, or accidentally give it to a follower or something. Or, if you're early on, low level, in the game, you might not have that much. Also, make sure you're not over your carry weight. Not sure if it makes any difference, but you never know. You might try uninstalling and reinstalling the game, make sure you've got all the updates and patches for both the game and the system -- you could do that without necessarily giving up your saved data, but if all else fails I'd either ignore it and go on foot (or buy a horse) -- Winterhold's not that far from Windhelm or Dawnstar -- or start over. I know you said you're "too far to restart" but if you're below level 15, that's not too far, imo. By the time I reached level 84 with my first character, I'd played for like 500 hours. In the grander scheme of things, getting back up to level 15 is a picnic.
Skyrim Glitch PC Help?
So there is this glitch in Skyrim that happens when I try to start a new game. The carriage goes upside down or sideways and there is no one(http://i50.tinypic.com/24q1m60.jpg). When I get to Helgen, the door won't open and my horse get stuck in midair. If i try to use a old save, every npc is stuck. I tried reinstalling but it still dosen't work.
Romance In Skyrim Mod Glitch?
So like I got this awesome mod called Romance In Skyrim (which I highly recommend) but I keep having this weird glitch where when I get to the ball the game stops responding (it freezes on the loading screen but I can still hear the background noises) and I have to turn off my computer and restart it. Is there anyway I can fix this? Thanks!
Skyrim:Golden Claw Quest Bug/Glitch?
Have exact the same problem. Started new games 5-6 times but it's always the same. No dialogue options in Lucan's, Arven already dead , no golden claw on him, or anywhere in Bleak Falls Barrow. The only solution I found to add the golden claw in my inventory was through console command: player.additem 00039647 1 EDIT: I found out where the problem was. It's the mod "Wars In Skyrim" that caused the glitch. It's not compatible with the latest game patch (1.4.21.04). If you also have it installed and you updated the game to the new patch then you must disable/uninstall the mod by unchecking or deleting the WiS esps from your data folder and all the WiS string files in the data/strings/ folder till a newer version comes out When I disabled the Wars In Skyrim I started a new game and everything worked as it should in the golden claw quest. Lucan's dialogue options was there and the swift was alive in the webs with the claw on him.
Help skyrim dawngaurd glitch help 10 points!!!?
Im at that part new order where you recruit gunmar but when I try to help him kill the bear in the cave,but the marker points at the ground of the cave and no bear is to be found 0.o and gunmar just stands there battle ready what should I do I don't want to start the game all over. xbox 360 version no mods or cheats dawngaurd only add on I purchased
What mods should a first time player of Skyrim get?
Well, the first thing you’ll want to do is check out STEP. STEP is basically a beginner’s guide to stable modding and also provides a list of bug/glitch-fixing mods. There are some video tutorials for it as well.Do note that not all the mods in the modlist are required. Beyond the fixes they’re mostly just visual mods and stuff that adds small changes to the game. I would recommend filing through them and picking out the ones you like.After that, you should definitely check out Skyrim GEMS. GEMS is a list of some of the best mods out there and is neatly sorted into a range of categories.Here’s my personal list of essential Skyrim mods:All fixes and ‘extenders’ in STEP.SkyUI - Makes the UI decent and is required for a lot of modsOpen Cities - Makes the major cities a part of the Open World, removing the loading screens when you walk into them.I’m a Customer Dammit - Lets you buy items sitting in shops instead of automatically stealing them.Convenient Horses - Makes horses not suck by letting you decide whether they follow you, join in or run from battle, and adds the ability to call your horses.A Follower Overhaul (I use Amazing Follower Tweaks) - Adds a lot more functionality to followers.
