How To Get Rid Of The Get Started Box At The Top Of My New Group Page

How to add a "Profile" picture for a Facebook Group page, or is it not possible with the new timeline?

Hi I have question

Since the introduction to the new timeline theme, I can not figure out how to have a custom profile pic for that group. I have tried a number of things as found online to correct this to no avail. When I go to the group page, in the upper left side of the page is my own personal profile picture, but when you click on my picture, it just brings me back to my private FB page.

Does anyone know how to get out logo in as a profile pic for the group?

The suggestion indicated below is not applicable here as I am not trying to change a pic in a person profile, but the on on a Facebook Group I manage. \Keep in mind that as I said earlier, the pic in the upper left corner is the my profile picture that is being displayed not the picture icon for the group. I am wondering if this has to dot with the fact that I am the primary admin. Even if I try to mouse over the picture of me (again which should not be there)no options overlay. I just can not figure out how to do this.

To set the scene, I have a personal FB page, and when you log in the profile pic is of me. The gaming squad I am with has created a group page for all over us, and I am the primary admin for that group. So while on my personal page, in the "search" text box on the top of the page, I type in the name of the group and hit enter. While is does take me to the group page, my personal information and profile pic are still being displayed. I also just noted that there is only a banner on other group pages, and I don't see any of them with a profile pic for the group. It almost appears

Thanks

How can I get rid of Yahoo Group emails?

They are all sex groups and I do not want them coming into my home. I tried listing them as spam but it did no good. I guess Yahoo does not like their email garbage spammed. Any help would be appreciated.

How do you change cover photo at yahoo groups?

I own groups and I agree that the new Groups format sucks. You can complain to Yahoo by clicking on 'Feedback' which is in the menu of the new format for each group. Look toward the bottom of the menu list.

Here's how I changed my cover picture after 'neo' started.

First, you have to choose a photo that you want for the cover in your group & that will fit the dimensions of the space. I own 3 groups and I looked for cover photos in Google Images by typing "banner" and another word that fit what each group is about into the Google search slot. For instance, for one group I typed "banner + fresh vegetables." I then clicked on "Images" in Google, found a photo I liked that approximately fit the dimensions of the cover space and downloaded it onto my desktop.

Then, I went back to my group and ran my arrow over the photo in the cover. The words, Change Cover, appeared. I clicked on that and my list of photos from my desktop was shown. I chose the one I wanted and clicked 'save' after it appeared as my group cover photo.

In an MS word document, why does my page stop half way through and begin on the next page? How can I fix this?

There is a margin line whereby u can adjust by the left side by pulling it down which will make the page or post NT stop half way

How I can get out of femine_looks@yahoogroups.com?

those who joined a group via e-mail subscribe or were added members can only leave by the unsubscribe e-mail, but leaving a group via the unsubscibe e-mail is faulty, if that's the only way you can leave, you will need the help form
http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/groups/...

go to group home page and click edit membership top middle of page- bottom right click Leave Group- next page confirm and click Leave
or
go to this link http://groups.yahoo.com/mygroups click edit my groups on the top left- locate group (if there's more than one) under the last column check the small box - click save changes

Ms word. how can i make a table take up entire page. that is, how do i get rid of margins?

From the File menu you can select Page Setup. Here is where you can reduce your margins. (in Word 2007 you want the Page Layout tab, then Page Setup group, then click Margins)

Bear in mind that many printers have minimum settings for page margins, usually around 1/4 to 3/8 of an inch, they are incapable of printing all the way to the edge of the paper. But if you set all your margins to zero they will be automatically corrected to the minimum available.

After you've reduced your margins as far as you can, you can then resize your table to take up as much space as possible.
